Who is She?

Felicia's pov

Im standing in the hallway listening to Terrence talk to this girl about our apartment, and I cant help but wonder what relationship do they have that she can call him baby?  "Hey Dede, what up girl, what you doin here?"  

I peek my head around the corner to see her reaching up to give T a hug. He doesn't even hesitate as he wraps his arms around her so intimately. "I just couldn't help myself, I had to come see how it all turned out and if your cousin loves what we did with the place." We? So Terrence didn't decorate this apartment all on his own like he lead me to believe? Why would he lie to me?

 "Umm, Dede thanks for helping me move in and everything but uhh now is not a good time and it's late." She gives him the sad puppy face except she looks like a damn mouse when she does it, which by the way made her look hideous. I don't care who she is, I want her gone and I want her gone now. "Awww baby, I'm sorry it's just you've talked about your cousin all day and how excited she was going to be to see the place. It got me excited for her, I just wanted to see how it all panned out. Im sorry if now's not a good time, just call me later on or tomorrow so we can spend some QT together." He shakes his head and gives her a side hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Aight ma I'll call or text you lata, thanks again for everything." 

I walk/jog back to my bedroom and shut the door quietly, I didn't want him to know I was ease droppin on his conversation with thirsty hoe out there. I can hear him walking down the hallway and he stops at my door. I immediately jump on the bed "Lish can I come in?" I really didn't want to see him at the moment, but I had no reason to say no. "Yea come in" He opens the door and goes right back to leaning on the door frame. "So I take it you love ya bed huh?" I shake my head yes and move to sit at the edge of the bed. "Who was at the door and what took so long?"

 Im really hoping he tells me the truth, I dont want him to feel like he has to hide things from me. I mean why would he? "Oh nobody important, just the girl whose Uncle owns these apartments. She came to see how we settled in and everything." So if that's all she was why was she callin him baby and hugging all up on him. "Oh ok, so she wasn't your newest boo thang?" He comes to sit next to me on the bed, a lil too close. He turns to look at me with a small grin on his face 

"My boo thang huh? Geeze Lish why every female you see talking to me you think is my boo thing?" I just shrug my shoulders "I dont know maybe because they always hangin all over you and callin you baby, like they claimin you or somethin"  I know I sound jealous right now but I dont really care. My emotions are super heighten right now after our few lil encounters. "To be honest Lish I dont know why they be doin that, but you don't have to worry about me bringin no hoes up in our house. I respect you and I hope you'll give me the same respect by not bringin no random niggas up in here." Not that I would do that, but why we got these rules goin if he doesnt feel anything for me? I have to find out I cant keep goin on like this.

"Umm T can I ask you a question and can you be honest with me?" He looks at me with a puzzled expression "Of coarse Lish, I'm always honest with you aint I?" I give him the 'yea right nigga" look and he laughs "Ok Ok me hiding this apartment from you does not count. It was a surprise man, now ask me what you wanted to ask me. You got me worried now" Im trying my best to build up enough courage to ask him how he really feels about me, but as Im about to open my mouth his phone rings. 

"RING, RING" 

He looks down at his phone and sees that his Mom is calling. "shit man, Im gonna have to answer this. You and I  both know I dont give a shit about what happens to that peice of shit man of hers, but Im still her son and I care that she's hurting." 

"T you dont have to explain yourself to me, I understand. I can't lie and say I'm not interested in what happens to him because now that I know he's my father, I need answers"  That's all he needed to hear before he picks up the phone.
