The Day Before Yesterday

It happened so fast, everything fell apart. I knew it was coming, but it came faster than I would have thought it could. I knew the military and the scientist were trying to stop it, but none of us knew if they would be able to stop it or if it would die on its own.

If they failed it would continue as long as the living were still alive, or thats what my father said at lease. We would have to fight the "others" for our own lives.

Society didn't believe it would happen, but they were wrong.

My family prepared for what might hit us. Lots of supplies were needed, from weapons to survival equipment.We stocked up on canned foods, while the others in society ignored the signs.

The government told us to continue to live our "normal" lives.

At that point more people started to worry.

Everyone was carrying riffles, pistols, swords, hammers, or any object that could kill. Parents sent their children to school with guns and you know what? Schools allowed it. Everyone carried a supple pack, because you didn't know when it would hit you.

Things started to get really crazy and many people didn't leave their homes. The news showed the dead coming back to life and they were feasting on living.

The government contiuned to force everyone to go to school. Adults still needed to go to work.

Mother's cryed as they watched their young children head to school.

Many others knew they would not stand a chance and committed suicide.

The world was falling apart.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was the spring of 2014. Everyone was on the edge of their seats.
In India the "others" were sprwading.
The military continued to shoot them down, many of them got back up amd continued to rip apart the country.
Within days, the military and that country were wiped out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We were all still forced to go to school or work, even after that.

The officals ran our towns; forcing us to continue our routines.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Through out this whole mess my dad had a huge "project" going on in the shed. No one was aloud in there. It was strictly off limits.
I of course- I was curious. Some days he would come home with bags of stuff and head straight to the shed.
Other days he would be in there for three hours or even all day.
I tryed many times to get in there, but there was a code lock on it.
I eventually gave up on it. But, I never gave up my curiousity of what might of been in there.
I had tryed all weekend to open the darn thing- no luck.
I had school the next day so I needed sleep. I gave up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My mom would always warn me on Sunday night's, because I went to school before she got up, "Be careful Ann. Never let your guard down, not even for a second. Anything could happen in that single second."

I got up in the morning not feeling very well, but we had a couple tests that day; so I had to go. I rolled out of bed and got dressed.

I brushed my teeth right away, I wasn't a big fan of eating breakfast.
