I blacked out.
"Ann!" I heard yelling. "Ann, where are you?!"
I coughed, "Here!" I tryed to call out, but it came it in a squeal.
I heard russling above me, a dim light finally found my eyes. I got pulled up.
"David?" I stroked his hair. "What happened?"
"They're here. They sent over a bomb..." He explained.
I looked at the rubble, concrete, and mechanical supplies all over.
"We have to go, right now!" David helped me stand.
I dug for my backpack in the rubble, when I found it I put it on. "Let's go."
I started heading to the infirmary.
"Where are you going?!" David called.
"To get the babies. Check the cafeteria for the group." I ran to the infirmary.
I opened the door, the bassinet was still standing, babies crying.
"Hold on." I nervously said as I opened the cabinet. I stuffed formula, pacifiers, diapers, medicine, and few other mandatory things. I grabbed down one blanket for each of the babies.
I turned to see two of the three babies there.
"Alec!" I yelled as I searched in the rubble. "Damn it!" I kicked the cupboard.
I grabbed Wyatt and wrapped him in a blanket. I did the same with Kenzie.
I picked then up and walked out of the infirmary.
"David?" I called as I walked into the cafeteria.
"Over here." He had Brooklyn and Ireland Grace sitting on the table. "Everyone else is gone."
"Alec is gone."
"Just Alec?"
I shook my head, "We have to go, before another bomb goes off."
"Here, I'll take Wyatt and Ire. Brooke go with Ann." David pointed to me.
I motioned my hands to Brooke, she grabbed it.
David sighed, "Let's go."
We walked outside to see grass on fire and concrete everywhere.
"That way. Twords the mountains." I followed David.
We walked, going slow because the little girls.
David stopped and looked up, "Do you hear that?"
I stopped and listened, "Yeah. What is that?!"
A plane was slowly flying over us.
David cursed, "Run!"
He took off running, I followed.
"What was it?" I asked.
"Nuclear bomb. The plane was carring a Nuclear bomb." David tryed to make Ireland run faster.
"Oh my god... Brooke come on, we have to run as fast as we can." I politely told her, but I said it with a pushy tone.
"That rock! We need to get to it." David greered another way.
Brooklyn was really slow, I had no choice but to pick her up.
We got to the big rock and sat behind it.
"Sit twords the middle." I pushed Brooke over next to Ireland Grace.
The explosion went off, winds beat against the rock some escaping from around the sides.
The twins whimpered and cryed.
I held Kenzie against my chest, trying to block her from the escaping winds.
When it stopped I got up.
"Where are you going?" David asked.
"To see the damage..." I slipped around the side of the rock and froze in my tracks.
Pine trees layed on the floor, meadows on fire, the camp was now just rubble.
David cane out from around the rock and stood next to me. The disaster was memorizing. I grabbed his hand and squeezed it.
"What are we going to do now?" David asked.
"We are going to head to Washington D.C. That's what everyone else would do." I replied.
