I had fallen asleep on David's shoulder.
I woke up to the sounds of screaming and crying.
I heard growling close by. My eyes fluttered open, there was a walker straight in it face. I screamed and kicked its face.
It flew back and started getting back up.
David jumped when I screamed.
I got out my gun and shot it, it flew backwards.
There was more coming.
I got up, David still partly asleep. I grabbed his hand and pulled him to his feet.
"David! Come on wake up all the way!"
He shook his head, "I'm up sorry. Wha- oh my gosh!"
He looked around and noticed what was going on. He took out his gun from his back pocket.
"Ready?" He smiled.
"Ready." I smiled back.
We started to run to the front of the house. Everyone was standing in a circle, facing outward.
Each time a zombie came up, the closest person to it would stab its head, then go back into the circle formation.
There was some fresh bodies on the ground. I didn't know who they were or which group.
"We have to leave!" Rick yelled.
"You and Carl take the truck with the supplies." I yelled back.
I wasn't being rude, just all the growling was making it hard to hear anything.
He shook his head, and motioned Carl to do something.
Rick went and got into the truck, Carl ran inside the house.
A couple went and got their car. They came around to the front of the house, "Any of you need a ride?"
The group looked at me, I counted.
Ten.
"No, we're all good. Thank you." I replied.
Carl came running out with his baby sister in his arms. He went and got into the truck.
"Okay." The woman replied.
A man with a cross bow, a blonde girl, a older lookin' woman, and two little girls got into that couples car.
A man with an axe, I'm guessing his daughter, a woman with a Katana, a man with an army truck, and I'm guessing his two friends got into a army truck.
"Go! Get into the van." I told my friends.
They all got in.
I ran to the other side to get in.
The other cars started driving away.
I got into the middle and closed the door.
My Aunt started following the other group.
We were all breathing hard.
"Who did we lose?" I asked the group.
"Wren." Cheyanne said softly.
I looked at David who was in the passenger seat.
He stared out the front window and didn't look back at me.
I turned to the window next to me and stared out it.
We lost another person...
