Catherine's POV

Jovani was visibly uncomfortable with the idea of I and Lucas together. I'm not completely sure why. I'm not going to jump to any conclusions because I don't want to endanger our friendship. I don't The rest of the night was fun, but he seemed really distracted. After he left this morning, I had nothing planned so being the potato I was, I was just sitting at home snacking, watching tv, and getting fat. Just then I got a text.

Marcus😜: Hey u there?

Catherine: Yup what's up

Marcus😜: Do you have anything planned

Catherine: Noooooo...why?

Marcus 😜: I and Lucas are going to a party later and were wondering if you would like to come

Catherine: Sure, whose party

Marcus 😜: No idea

Catherine: lol what!!??

Marcus 😜: Don't ask. We'll pick you up at 7?

I look at the clock. 3:00. Plenty of time to get ready.

Catherine: Sure. Classy or Casual?

Marcus 😜: What?

Catherine: I mean what I should wear.😑

Marcus 😜: ohhhhhh definitely casual   and you can also invite others if you want. The more the merrier

Catherine: ok I'll be waiting

Marcus😜: see ya ✌

I was excited about getting to see the twins again. Because I could also invite others, I'll ask Jovani if he'd like to come. He could meet others and make friends.

I then texted Jovani.

Catherine: Jojo you busy later?

Jovani🤓: No why?

Catherine: there's a party later. You wanna come?

Jovani 🤓: Sure where is it?

Catherine: not sure. The twins are picking me up

Jovani🤓: twins?

Catherine: I forgot to tell you. Lucas has a twin.

Jovani🤓: oh there's two of him now?

Catherine: be nice. Can you come over at 6:30?

Jovani🤓: Sure. Just don't ditch me. I don't know what I'd do.

Catherine: Promise. See ya later

Jovani🤓: later cathy ✌

I was pretty excited for this party. I set an alarm for 5:00. It would give me two hours to nap and 1 hour 30 minutes for prepping. The last thing I  thought about as I slipped into a refreshing nap was if the night would end well.
