Catherine's POV

What the heck just happened. After leaving his home, I quickly walked to my house. I couldn't bring myself to enter. I needed to think. To do that I needed space and air. So I turned around and went to the park.

Life was still going on around me though it seemed to be moving much slower then usual. The weather was amazing today. It was sunny, but not scorching hot. There was a light cool breeze swaying the leaves in the trees. I wish I could let my problems go with  it.

If only.

I go under an ancient looking oak tree. I sit and just think. I think about what is happening now, what will happen, and I wondered why this was happening. Two people I cared deeply for  confessed they had feelings for me...and I felt the same way. The only problem was, it was for the both of them.

Eventually all these thoughts began to weigh me down and I stopped. Instead, I leaned back against the rough bark of the tree and let myself enjoy the weather like the other in this park.

I began people watching and noticed who was there on this beautiful afternoon. I saw a family of three. The mother and father were on either side of a young girl who I guessed was their daughter. They looked happy. They swung the girl back and forth and she giggled uncontrollably. They put her down and kissed over her head. The young girl stuck out her tongue in a disgusted expression. I couldn't help but smile at the sight.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sense of someone sitting beside me. I turn and see none other than Lucas Dobre. While we sat nobody dared to say a word. But it was a comfortable silence. We didn't need to talk to tell each other:
