The Survival Weapon 3rd book of The Survival Games series

CHAPTER ONE

"Argh, Josh take It easy." I said. I was on the ground, he,  looking down at me grinning.

"Then it won't be fun." He said smiling. "I like it when you keep on trying and trying and trying and still, It ain't worth it. I am too good for you.''

"You are a guy, you are stronger." I said. "Besides, I can win anytime I want, just one simple wish."

"Yes, but that would be cheating.'' Josh said.

"But it would have been fun that way." I said smiling up at him. "Come on, give me a hand." He reached his hand to me, I pulled him down to me, and a moment later I managed to get on top of him.

"Gotha." I said.

We stayed for about two hours training, but mostly goofing around, so now we were walking home, we were not talking, we were both distracted in our own worlds. There were a lot of things going on in my mind.

"What are you thinking about?" Josh asked. We were already at my house. 'When did I get here?' I thought. "Annabelle, are you okay? Josh asked, this time saying my full name. I looked at him; he had both a concerned and worried look on his face.

"Yeah, I was just on the moon." I said, he grinned at me.

"Did you also talk to the moon?" He asked joking.

"Yes, and he asked me out, so I said yes." I said back joking. Without any warning, he was kissing me so fiercely that it knocked my breath away, I kissed him back. We both broke away suddenly when the door opened and my mom stepped out.

"Oh, hey." She said when she saw us, she turned to me and said. "I'm going to meet Luke at the central park." She looked at me and Josh and back. "Did I interrupt something?" She asked suspiciously.

"No." Josh and I said.

A school, when Josh and I were walking in the hallways__together, people would stop whatever they were doing and stare at us. Some of them would smile at us. Some would simply wave and others like Erika's pack would just grimace at us, but mostly at me and they would look at Josh like he had betrayed them, and they would look at me like I was the most disgusting thing ever, and Josh would put his arm around me.

Josh and I pretty much had some classes together, like history, Speech, Drama, and Art.

It was our last year of high school, we were seniors, and it was the beginning of October. Senior year was something I call stressful, It is where you are going to apply to our dream college to start your career and you have to have your high school degree.

"See you next period." Josh said. He had dropped me in my first-period class which was science.

"See ya." I said to him. I walked in my science class.

The teacher, Mrs. Son told us to go to the lab and do the experiment with our lab partners. My lab partners were Romana and Erika.

We all went on doing our experiments as soon as we were on our lab tables, we read the directions and did what we were supposed to do, well except for Erika.

"Erika, you should put your hair up." Romana said. We both had our hair up except for Erika who had her hair down. She looked at Romana.

"Why should I?" she asked and she flipped her hair so they were loose on her shoulder.
