"What." I gasped.
"Go." My friends pushed me to the stage. I walked toward the stage where they put a crown on me, I beamed, this was just fantastic.
"Now, it's the Prom King and Queen dance." The president said. Josh guided me as the crowd opened up and we started dancing.
It was three in the morning when I got home. I went upstairs to my bedroom carefully so I would not wake up my mom, Belle was sleeping on my bed. I looked at myself in the mirror, the crown was still in my head.
I took it off and settled it on my desk, I took off my dress, shoes and changed into my PJs. I went to the bathroom and washed the makeup that was on my face off. When I was done, I looked and smiled to myself in the mirror and went to bed.
"So, you are prom queen." My mom said at breakfast. "I saw the crown this morning."
"Yep."
"So, how does it feel?"
"Pretty good, like amazing. I can't determine that feeling." I said smiling.
"I know what you mean."
I went back to school on Monday. During break, I went to find Josh, I found him with our DJL friends and Romana, they were all talking excitedly.
"What's up, guys?" I asked in excitement to know what they were all talking and excited about.
"We're all going to Stanford." Romana said squealing.
"What!" I gasped amazed.
"We all got accepted." Josh said. "Romana and I got three years scholarship."
"That's amazing." I said happy for them.
"Dylan and I got two years scholarship." Spencer said.
"That's great." I said smiling.
"I got a one-year scholarship." Ivy said.
"I got none, but my parents can afford it" Gabe said.
"So, what about you. I bet you got a full scholarship." Josh said. I looked at him and met his gaze.
"I haven't got my letter yet, so I don't know." I said truthfully.
"What." Josh gasped in shock.
"Hey, maybe you'll have it somewhere this week or next week." Romana said. I nodded a little relieved.
"Okay, so today I'm going to see which students are romantic." Mrs. Jensen said. "Those two students will be a girl and a boy. Romana won't compete, she'll be the judge. Wade, Clayton. You guys are up." The guys weren't really romantic at that contest, at the point where Romana would shout "NEXT." Josh was pretty good, and I was not saying that because he was my boyfriend, but Josh WAS ROMANTIC.
"Josh is the WINNER." Mrs. Jensen said. "Sabrina, Kimberly. You guys are up." The girls weren't good, they were more self-obsured, so with that, Romana said. "NEXT." There were two of us who hadn't gone yet, me and......Erika. "Annabelle, Erika. You guys are up.
We both got up at the same time.
"Get ready, loser." Erika said smirking. I looked at her.
"You always say that, but you never win." I said back at her truthfully. She looked at me, glaring. "I'm sorry, but it's the truth, seriously."
"Okay, you guys. I need you guys to think like you are on a date with your girlfriends." Mrs. Jensen said. We both nodded."You give your girlfriend something that sparkles, and she says 'whoa, it sparkles'. What can you say?" Mrs. Jensen asked.
"I know right, that's why I bought it in the first place." Erika said. some kids laughed.
