Eventually, we went back to Oregon, back to school. Josh and I made Charmant and Belle compete against each other again. My dad went to meet with other seekers in Martinique.

Josh and I only had Art, Lunch, and Drama for the second semester. I only had Drama with Erika.(Thank God). I loved my classes for the second semester, they were more fun, stressful and competitive, which I loved.

"Why do I have to do this?" I asked one day at Lesson. Josh was watching me. "I thought you said that when I'm eighteen, I would be a full Mind-Wisher and I would not be doing this so much."

"Well, it's true. But, you need to learn and practice more so you'll be ready when the big day comes." Megan told me. She was talking about the war.

"This is just BULL." Josh said standing up. We simply watched him. "The war....it's all crap, everything is just BULL shit." He ran out of the basement.

"Josh." I yelled as I started dashing after him, but Megan caught my wrist.

"Give him time, he needs to cool down." Megan said. "You can go talk to him after Lesson."

After Lesson, I went to see Josh. His bedroom door was shut, I knocked on his door.

"Go away, whoever you are." He yelled. "I don't wanna see anyone."

"Josh, it's me... Anna." I said through the door. "Can I talk to you?" He didn't respond to my request, so I went on. "I know you're a little mad about all of this, but I'm a little proud of it, I'm also terrified, but still proud that I'm the one who is supposed to destroy the biggest, evilest demon in existence.

"I mean, I may die doing it, but at least I'll die by saving or trying to save the world."

There was nothing but silence.

"It's my purpose, my destiny. I'll have to run through it and finish it__Josh, can you please say something." Josh remained silent, I sighed and left. I went to my house, it was already time for dinner.

"Annabelle, are you okay?" My mom asked. She was concerned.

"Yeah. It's just that Josh had a little breakdown about the 'GUERRE' thing." I said with exhaustion.

"I know how it feels." My mom replied sadly.

"Mom, you don't have to worry." I said. She looked up. "I'll survive for you and my other love ones."

"But, you never know."

"Most people on earth have purposes." I said truthfully. "And my purpose is to defeat that demon. And I'm gonna fulfill that purpose."

"You're always independent." My mom said tearfully, but those tears were mixed with both happiness and sadness. "Always take your jobs seriously."

"I know, thanks."

Today was Wednesday, Josh wasn't at school.

"Where's Josh." Dylan asked.

"Uhm, he's not really feeling well." I said. "But I'm sure he'll be here tomorrow."

Thursday came and Josh still wasn't here, tomorrow would be Friday and we did not have school, I didn't have Lesson on Friday either.

"Annabelle." A voice called. It was Erika.

"Here we go, round three." I muttered to my DJL friends.

"Where's Josh?" She asked. "Has the prince left the castle because you're not the right courtiere for him."

"No, he's just not feeling well." I said.

"Oh, did Ivy gave you the 'Ivy poison' and you gave Josh the 'Ivy poison'?" Erika asked mockingly. Ivy gave Erika a glare, the glare was so intense, I've never seen Ivy glare like that. Erika saw te glare and took a step back. That was something I called 'The Ivy Glare.'

"It really sucks to be you, Erika." I said with no expression.

"What do you mean?" She asked a little confused. Apparently, she thought that every girl in the school, wanted to be like her, and every guy wanted her.

"I mean, you're just so full of yourself." I said truthfully. The air changed, Erika blushed.

"Annabelle." She said and leaned closer to me. "You better__"

"What." I interrupted. "Watch out. Really, Erika, I'm not the one who needs to watch out here and you know that." We held our gaze.

"I'm not so full of myself." She said and dashed out of the cafeteria.

                                                                                          0000

"Okay, so you know what to do."

"Yep." I said. The basement door opened and Josh came in. I could not help smiling. I wanted to run over to him, hug him, kiss him and feel his body enclosure around me, but I remained my ground.

Throughout Lesson, Josh was staring at me, watching every move, his gaze was so tense, I felt like there was a spotlight on me. I looked at him, he gave me an half-smile, the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." Megan said. "Josh, can you continue?" As soon as she left, I looked at Josh, he opened his arms, I walked toward him and sat on his lap. He closed his arms around me.

"Aren't you suppose to continue lesson with me until my Minder gets back?'' I asked smiling.

"I would if I knew what you were doing."

"Weren't you watching?"

"No, I was way distracted by your beauty." He said as he kissed my neck, I turned to face him, my legs were around his waist. I looked at him, our gaze met, we held our gaze.

"Are you okay?" I asked him concerned about what had happened last Tuesday.

"Yeah, I'm better." He said sadly. "My mom talked to me about what might happen in the W. thing."

"Shh. Let's not talk and worry about it now. Let's just enjoy and use the time that we have now."

"And what is that?" He asked smiling.

"This." I said and kissed him softly on the lips, the kiss was nothing but gentle, lovely. I broke away, held his gaze. "Our love for each other." I said. In a moment, he kissed me so fiercely that it knocked my breath away.

He closed his arms around me and pulled me closer to him. The kiss grew more tense, hungrier, there was so much desire in the kiss. I had a really hard time to breath, but I didn't want to stop. He stopped kissing me and I took that time to breathe.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear. He kissed my ear, my cheek, the tip of my nose, my upper lip. I kissed him back. His hands went under my shirt to my stomach, he slid his hands up that when his hands touched my bra, they were trembling. I smiled, still kissing him.

He put his hands on my back.

He put his arms around my butt and carried me to the table that we were exactly the same height, he slid his hands from my butt to my legs and put them around his waist.

He kissed my temple up to my shoulder, my neck, my jaw and my lips. He put his arms around my waist and pulled me closer, just like I put my hands around his neck and pulled him closer. There was no space between us, there was so much desire in the kiss, none of us wanted to stop. Again, it was hard to breathe. I slid my hands down on his shirt, I could feel his abs. I put my hands under his shirt to get a better texture, I wanted to pull his shirt off. Like he knew what I was thinking, he pulled his shirt off, my diamond necklace was pinkish-red.

Josh's eyes were glowing and he was kind of blushing, but something caught his eyes, the light drained out of his eyes and he went ghostly pale white. I looked up, it was Megan....and my mom. Both of them had their mouths hanging open.
