The days had gone by in a blur. The guys were always checking up on me, in spite of their hectic schedules. Yoongi had locked himself in the room every time they came back from a program. His pride prevented him from apologizing to everyone for his disrespectful behavior a couple of weeks ago. As far as I was concerned I was only his manager, and I needed to be professional.
I was busy dealing with the backlash of getting into a scuffle with Jeong-hwa at Music Bank. Someone secretly recorded it and uploaded it to YouTube. The comment section was divided. The international fans and some of the younger residents here in S. Korea were on my side, but the other half were out for my blood. Words have power, but I wasn't about to be enslaved by the opinions of others. The human heart can be so evil at times.
Samchon called me into his office, because the netizens were demanding that I be the one to apologize to Jeong-hwa. He thinks it's foolish as well, but now the netizens are threatening to boycott anything BTS. At least I still have the ARMY'S in my corner.
"They want me to apologize to her, even though the video cleary shows that she purposefully attacked me with her drink? Samchon..." I was literally at a loss for words. Where was the logic in this? They'd overlook Jeong-hwa's aggression simply because I was a foreigner, and they didn't want me to be close to BTS. Wow!!!
"The decision is yours to make, Chey. I'm not going to force you to do something you shouldn't have to do. I'm sorry you've been put in this situation." Samchon rubbed his hands down his face in frustration.
I sighed, not liking the outcome of this situation either. "Eotteoke? (What to do?)" Just then a thought popped up in my head. "I'm not going to apologize to her, because she threatened me first, but what if she and I met up and came to a mutual agreement? I don't want the boys to suffer, just because she has an obsession with Yoongi..." I groaned in annoyance.
My Uncle patted me on the back of my hand. "This is what I'll do... I'll talk to the chief executive of Banana Culture Yoo Jae Woong, and we'll set up a meeting to neutralize the situation. Does that sound good?"
"Mm." I checked the time and stood up from my seat. "Thank you, Uncle. I'm sorry that you've gotten dragged into this mess. I gotta meet Soo Mi at the music video set. She forgot to bring Yoongi's eye drops."
"That girl…" I chuckled at him rolling his eyes. "Alright, be safe. I'll call you later after I finish talking to Mia and Soojung." He kissed my forehead and I hugged him for a good 3 minutes. I just needed a hug. With everything that was going on I was trying not to get overwhelmed. "I love you so much, my dearest niece. This is all going to work out for your good. I'm praying for you."
"Yeah. Nado saranghae, Samchon." I kissed his cheek and quickly made my way to the guys’ dorm room. Going straight to Yoongi's room I looked on his dresser and found his eye drops. As I was about to leave, his laptop made a sound. Against my better judgment I began snooping through his emails. One in particular caught my attention.
It was an exchange between Yoongi and Minho. I was extremely surprised to see that Yoongi had my back. He told Minho that I was his and to leave me alone or else. I marked the email "unread" and closed out of the page. My breath caught in my throat as I had seen a picture of me and Yoongi on our first date as his Screensaver. That pabo!
Soo Mi texted me again and I gathered myself together and left the building. I reached the set 30 minutes later and went on my search for Yoongi. I found him by himself on the field. "Hey, I brought your eye drops." He turned around at the sound of my voice, and I bent his head back and tried to put the drops in.
