Chapter 19: Begin

I was so consumed with my desire for revenge that I forgot about the girls with the matching scorpion tattoos, until they showed up at Tae-rin's apartment.

Jungkook was going to be my first victim. I followed him but stuck to the shadows. I wasn't surprised to see another Scorpion Gang Member trailing him either. Sunny was different from the other ones, I could tell, but the tattoo on her wrist made her my enemy regardless.

I guess I'd take them out together.

One night, I watched as she paid 2 guys some money and pointed to Jungkook, who was walking down the street. They purposefully bumped into him and started trouble. They beat him up and left him to fend for himself. I wanted him to hurt so, I left him there.

3 days later, he met up with my husband, which ended in them fighting. Apparently, the others wanted to come clean about Minho, but Yoongi wouldn't allow it. The truth of that is, he didn't want me to hate him for what he did. I didn't hate them for protecting me from Minho; I hated them for letting me take the blame for his death.

They gained worldwide fame while I suffered behind prison walls. I missed out on years of my daughter's life... years that I'll never get back. That was the cause for my revenge. I couldn't back down now.

By the time Jungkook made it back to the creepy house he was staying at, I was there. I lit his painting on fire as he slept and waited for his nightmare to end. He bolted awake, sweat dripping down his skin, with my name leaving his lips. "Cheyenne!" He cried and cried and cried, but I tried not to care.
