Only Mabel [A Gravity Falls Fanfiction]

Wendy and Soos had grabbed me from my paradise bubble and dragged me out. I resisted. I wouldn't use magic on my friends, though.

"Mabel, your brother... He's captured by Bill Cipher..." Wendy explained as soon as we left my bubble.

My eyes went wide...

"WHAT?!" I screamed.  "But..."

"Yeah, she's telling the truth girl-dude." Soos told me.

We got to the shack. Everyone commented on how glad they were that I wasn't caught by Cipher too.

"Stan," I asked in front of everyone, "I have a few things to say. I was captured by Bill, but Wendy and Soos saved me. Also, how did Dipper get captured?"

Ford stepped forward. "He and I were going to shoot Bill with my quantum destabilizer. But the clock's bell was washed over by a weirdness wave. It shouted that it was alive, and I accidentally shot my last shot. Bill blew up the top of the building. Your brother was caught under rubble. I was going to get him, but he told me to leave him. He gave me Journal 3 and tripped me so I fell down some stairs. He wouldn't let me go back to save him."

Ford teared up.

I was planning on abandoning this story. I guess I'm not, after all. My updates will be infrequent as always, but at least there's a little more to read.

I can't believe it's been a whole year.
