Slowly I sat up.
Ambrogio sat beside me and my hand was in his, he gave me a small smile. "Your Grace."
I smiled. "Ambrogio."
"I've sent for Chamania and Tristan. Your Queen's Guard didn't want you to be on your own so I sent a servant." He took a deep breath. "How are you feeling?"
I nodded. "A little dazed."
"Do you remember the premonition?" He asked.
The doors opened and entered Chamania with Tristan whom rushed tommy side. He was huffing a little and he looked relieved upon seeing me.
"What happened?" He asked.
"The Queen received a premonition." Ceslav answered and stepped forward from the shadows. "It has not been known for years that a Seer has received a premonition."
Chamania chuckled. "Another mystery Gwen."
I gave her a small, lopsided smile. "Sorry."
She rolled her eyes at me playfully and sat at the foot of the couch I now sat in.
"W-what do you mean a premonition?" Tristan asked looking to my Queen's Guard.
"Meaning she saw the past." Ambrogio rolled his eyes in amusement. I giggled slightly under my breath. "How do you not know what that means?"
Tristan growled. "I know what it means what I don't understand is how Gwendolyn got a premonition."
Ambrogio nodded in agreement. "The last I heard of someone having premonitions was Jasimine Abiel."
The Queen's Guard froze. I watched them carefully as they barely moved and stared at one another. Their eyes wide and with fear. It made me slightly nervous.
"Who is Jasimine Abiel?" I asked them, standing to my feet and to them, as they stood in a row. None of them answered me and so I repeated my question. "I ask again. Who is Jasimine Abiel?"
Ceslav sighed. "Jasimine Abiel is a seer who received visions of the future and past. Unfortunately no one has seen or hear from her  in almost twenty years after she went rogue."
I furrowed my brows. "Why did she go rogue?"
He shrugged. "No one knows."
Ambrogio stepped in and stared at the Queen's Guard then to me. "Gwendolyn, how old are you?"
"Nearly twenty." I spoke slowly and quietly.
He looked to the Queen's Guard. "Is Jasimine Abiel, Gwendolyn's mother?"
"Why would you assume that?" Chamania from behind me asked.
"Premonitions are hereditary." Ambrogio answered gravely looking right at me.
Armani looked to me, her eyes wide with fear. "If we are dealing with Jasimine Abiel, your Grace, we are dealing with one of the most powerful Seers. But also one of the most insane."
I took deep breaths and had to sit back down, Tristan beside me holding me tight. "My mother is a seer whom is powerful and insane. Wonderful. I'm a child of a nut job."
"Do not fret Gwen." Tristan tried to calm me.
"This only the first day back of classes and life has already given us another mystery." I looked to Chamania who was laughing.
"So what do we do now? Do we inform the rest of the Queen's Army to look out for Jasimine Abiel?" Ambrogio asked the Queen's Guard.
Burnham nodded. "We shall inform the Queen's Army and send them a sketch of what she last looked like. They'll begin searching the streets of Pangaea if she is here."
I nodded. "I had best inform William of what's happening before he hears from his captains."
Tristan beside me froze but nodded. "Go inform him now we'll keep planning."
I walked out to the balcony and pulled out my portal caller. "William."
The portal caller was silent for a moment till I saw William's face pop up. "Gwendolyn." His gorgeous face made me miss him already and wish that he was with me now.
"How are you my love?" I asked him.
"Good, we've been training harder than anything. It's been incredibly tough at the moment but hopefully we get sent out soon again." He smiled.
I looked to the ground then to him. "It may be sooner than you and I hope."
He furrowed his brows, completely confused. "What's happening Gwen?"
I sighed. "We found out my mother is an insane nut job who is out to kill me. The Queen's Guard will send out a message to the Queen's Army and have you all search the streets of Pangaea to find her hopefully before she finds me and kills me."
He looked furious. "Why is she trying to kill you?"
I shrugged my shoulders. "Who knows. But hopefully we find her before she kills me."
William nodded. "We will find her my love."
"William! The Captain needs us!" Someone called out behind him. His eyes met mine and they went wide before leaving the room.
I giggled and so did William. "Well it may seem my Captain needs me. I'll speak to you soon my love."
I nodded. "Soon."
He disappeared and I entered the room once again smiling from ear to ear. It was good to speak to William even if it was only for a moment.
"I do not see the resemblance." Tristan spoke and I looked up from where I now stood. "The nose. The eyes. They are not from her mother. They must be from her father."
I walked over and stood beside Tristan and looked at the parchment he was holding. "That's my mother?"
The Queen's Guard nodded.
I stared at the picture of my mother, eyeing every detail of her. It was true, I got nothing from my mother. I must've but, there was nothing that she gave me. Except the fact that I am a Seer and receive premonitions.
"They look like features from Queen Nahaya." Tristan whispered.
Knowing from the bottom of my heart that if I ever locked eyes with her, I would not hesitate to kill her. All my life I thought my mother died giving birth to me. Thinking that it was the most heroic thing she could have done. Especially with my father not ever being in the picture, except for consummating with my mother.
Now I know she had abandoned me and is now trying to kill me. I would not even stop to think before I kill her.
"Her heart will stop beating before mine."
