(Trying to keep this on schedule as best as I can)
James took a cab home, and wondered if anything else would happen today. He stared out the window and followed the passing cars with his eyes. He was about to doze off when his phone buzzed.
'Sup?
James smiled, it was Senan. He quickly texted back and they chatted about random topics through James's whole ride home. James would sometimes laugh a little, the driver would give him a weird look but James was already used to that.
James payed the taxi driver and walked up the driveway. He knitted his eyebrows together in confusion when he saw Father's Porsche, but shrugged it off. Father never stuck to schedule, something that always bothered James, but he could tolerate it. James sighed, today was way too eventful for his liking. James opened the door and walked in, "I'm home!"
James was greeted by Father. "Dad!" James exclaimed happily and Father smiled. "You're home early!" James smiled. "Yeah, finished the conference early and came home. On the way home, I saw something at the airport and thought you might like it," Father said with a sly grin. Jamed was expecting something small, Father always brought back some small souvenir with him. What he would've never even thought of was Steven. "Hey, JimJams," Steve greeted with a grin. "STEVE!" James bolted across the room to Steve and tackled him in a hug. James could feel the hot tears run down his cheeks, he was so so so relieved and happy to see Steve. Steve held him up, being a Navy SEAL helped in that. "I missed you too, Jimmy James," Steve whispered as they held each other. "It's OK, don't cry I'm here now," Steve whispered to James. Steve slowly put down James, and they let go of each other. James wiped away his tears and smiled. Yes, he might've been stimming and on the verge of a meltdown but he was happy. "I was so worried that you might not come back," James panted. Steve smiled assuringly, "Nah, I'm too good for that."
