(I AM NOT DEAD!! I HAVE NOT IN FACT DIED AND LOOK A NEW CHAPTER, I KNOW... THE INTERNET IS SOOOOOO MAGICAL!)
James waited outside the nearby Starbucks, searching the street for the sight of Senan. "Hey!" Senan somehow materialised next to him. James jumped a little. "Did I scare you?" Senan asked. "No," James denied it. Senan chuckled. "Hey, so I gotta pick up my little brother from ballet practice. Mind if we go there instead of coffee?" Senan questioned. James shrugged, "Fine with me."
James wondered what Senan's little brother must be like. They walked up to the building where the ballet practice was. Beatrice Academy of Dancing, the huge sign on the front read in big fancy black letters. The two walked in, and a group was just coming out of a training room. "Senan!" An asian boy, around 10, ran over. He was wearing a tight black shirt with grey tights and pink and white striped ballet shoes. "Hey, Tang. How was practice?" Senan asked with a smile. "It was great! Ms Lydia gave me extra stickers!" Tang cheered and showed off his two Avengers stickers in his little notepad. "That's awesome, Tang!" Senan cheered along with him. James smiled a little, remembering how proud he was when he got gold stars at his piano lessons. "Who's that?" Tang asked, referring to James. "Oh, yeah Tang meet James. James meet Tang," Senan introduced. "Hello," James greeted and waved a little. "Is he your boyfriend?" Tang asked. James flushed and looked down at his shoes, Senan laughed. "Tang, we're just friends. I'm not wooing everyone I meet," Senan explained. "Yeah, right. Tell that to Eliza and John," Tang rolled his eyes, "Also let's not forget: Angie, Mary, Andy, Tommy, and Alexander," Tang finished the list. James glanced at the now blushing Senan. "Tang!" Senan groaned. Tang giggled, "I'm going changing now!" He ran off to the changing room. "I'm not going to move on you, unless you want me to, don't worry," Senan said. "I wouldn't mind," James mumbled. Senan didn't seem to hear, because he didn't respond.
"So, is Tang also adopted?" James blurted out, breaking the silence. "Yup, we all are," Senan answered. "You all...?" James questioned. "I've 4 siblings in total," Senan answered. James stared at him, "Four?" Senan laughed again. "I'm the oldest. Tang and his twin sister, Peng, are the second oldest, they're both 10. Then comes Reyhan, she's 8 and last but not least, Saba she's 3." Senan explained. "I only have an older brother, his name is Steve, he's a Navy SEAL," James replied. "Cool," Senan commented. "I'm ready!" Tang exclaimed as he came out of the changing room. He was now in jeans and a Marvel t-shirt, he had a blue backpack slung around his shoulder. "Great, let's get going," Senan declared and they walked two blocks to Senan's house. James looked around the average-looking neighbourhood and felt his stomach sinking with worry. Would Senan feel weird in his posh neighbourhood? Would it be awkward? Would Senan drop him as a friend? "Hey, James, you OK?" Senan's voice snapped James out of his worry. "Yah, just got lost in thought," James murmured, then quickly followed Senan into the house.
The house was average in size, unlike James' parents' mansion. (He never understood the need for all the empty rooms) The living room was a mess, and pushed James' already rising anxiety levels higher. James couldn't stand a mess, it added to the already high unpredictability of life. James tried his best to ignore it, and followed Senan.
They walked through the living room and into the kitchen where Tang threw down his backpack. "Hey, Tang. Me and Jamie-o will head back out. You'll be fine alone till Julie and Tina get back, right?" Senan asked. "Yes, I'll be fine till mums get back." Tang rolled his eyes. "Well, back to your place then." Senan announced. James hoped he'd be able to keep it together all the way through.
