'The real meaning of the 'light house' represents what each of the characters want the most and they reach the light house at the end therefore reaching everything they all want'

The class clapped as me and Finn took our seats.

'Very good Miss Brown, Mr Wolfhard, very good' he said, clearly impressed.

I felt an odd sense of pride, one of the things I hadn't felt in a while, the bell rang and as usual Finn walked out with me to my locker. We had been spending lunch and breaks with each other recently. It wasn't really agreed it just sort of happened.

We were pushing against the flow of children trying to get the the other end of the hall.

'What do you like doing in your spare time princess?' He asked

'What?' I say sounding kind of stupid, his question took me by surprise.

'In your spare time, what do you do?' He had a more curious tone in his voice this time

'Oh, uh you know I like to read and listen to music' I said blushing, that wasn't really the type of thing 'normal' teenage kids did. I barley had a social life and my mobile phone was only really for calling my mom.

'You like music huh?' He grinned.

'Yeah, I love music'

'Well I play guitar' he said causally leaning against the locker next to mine.

I stopped getting my books from my locker and turned to face him.

'You do?' I asked with wide eyes.

'Yep' he laughed.

'Hot' I accidentally said out loud, shit.

'What was that princess' he asked me with raised eye brows.

'Huh, oh nothing' I mumbled

'I believe you just called me hot, am I right?' He said, teasingly.

'Yeah, whatever' I said with an attitude but also a smile

'You're not too bad yourself princess' he winked

I felt the fluttery feeling I got in my stomach every time he said something like this. I blushed such a deep red I had to look away so Finn wouldn't notice but I'm pretty sure he did anyway.

We found an empty table in the cafeteria as far away from anyone as possible.

'So how about this weekend I take you somewhere?' Finn asked me.

'Oh sure, where?'

'That's for me to know and you to find out princess' he grinned.

'Sounds fun' I said laughing.

'Oh it will be' he replied dreamily.

The end of the day finally came and I got out my iPod to listen to music whilst I walked home. I felt someone's shoulder against mine and their hand grazing my own. My heart started to race. I knew it was Finn. We were so close, we were touching.

'Hey Millie' he said smiling

'Hello Finn'

'How bout I walk you home?'

I hesitated before saying yes. I shoved my earphones back into my bag, not wanting to appear rude.

We talked about music, we talked about Finns guitar, we talked about how i sang.

We reached the gate to my house.

'Where should I meet you tomorrow?' I asked him.

'No where, I'll pick you up' he said grinning.

'Okay' I replied emphasising the 'y' to make my sentence sound like a question, asking for more information, but I didn't get any.

'See you tomorrow princess' he yelled from down the road

'See you tomorrow' I sighed to myself.
