Breathe In And Jump: Chapter 1 {{Merome FanFic}}

It was obvious, it had been for years now , well to the rest of Team Crafted anyway, two of their members were blindly in love and completely oblivious to the fact, and honestly it was driving every one a little stir crazy! But every attempt so far to get the two together had failed on an epic scale, sometimes you've just got to let them take the plunge themselves, but patience is something in short supply.

Jerome shifted in the backseat of Jason's car, unable to settle himself down for more than a few minutes at a time, they were back in LA for a couple of weeks for Team Crafted conferences, tours and a smaller version of minecon before jetting off to Europe to open a new convention, and whilst to everyone else this was a good opportunity to meet up with everyone, to Jerome it only meant one thing: getting to see Mitch! The distance between each of them was always a killer but none felt it more than Mitch and Jerome ,and even though the pair Skyped daily and texted nearly 24/7 it was never enough. Last time then were together in Seattle they ended up sleeping in the same bed, and whilst it wasn't uncommon for the friends to fall asleep on each other , this was certainly a new step. "Jerome, I swear to God I will beat you if you can't sit still" Adam had swivelled around in the front passenger seat and was now glaring at Jerome "Gee, I'm sorry Adam, I'm just really excited!" He rubbed the back of his neck and looked at the floor apologetically "Hey , what time's Mitch's flight supposed to get in? "

"Like you don't know Jerome!" Adam and Jason laughed in unison "anything to talk about Mitch!"

"Heeey , that's not true!" Jerome sulked in the back of the car, a mock scowl painting his features

"It's not long now Jerome , a couple of hours I think" Jason offered in an attempt to lighten the mood.

The rest of the car journey was packed with plan making and discussing the next few days events, and to Jason and Adam the time just flew but poor Jerome was all too aware of the passing seconds. By the time the trio had arrived at the LA house Jerome was thoroughly agitated and restless, he couldn't wait to get into the house and settle back down in his comfy room after months spent traveling the country, they loved the house, it was the best decision that Team Crafted had ever made and it reflected in their videos , all the time they were at the house their subs sky rocketed due to the simple fact that they were together. So far the only people to move in permanently were Adam , Jason , Jerome and Ty , the others had plans to move out later in the year due to other commitments which had kept them at home and it was an eagerly awaited day when all of Team Crafted had moved in. As soon as they had got inside the house everyone went their own way, disappearing into their individual rooms to settle back in, Jerome looked up at the clock and sighed, 4:05PM, Mitch's flight didn't land for another three hours! In Jerome's mind that was three hours too many and his boredom levels were increasing at an incredible rate, what to do whilst Mitch was away? Everything he did whilst he was here usually centred around Mitch, making videos with Mitch,editing videos with Mitch,Skyping and texting Mitch , it was a rare moment when the two weren't in contact and whilst Mitch was on that plane there was no way to contact him! The Bacca ran through his options in his mind ,finally settling on going to keep Adam company since he was the best at distracting Jerome when times were tough and Benja was no where to be found.

Adam heard a light knock at the door followed by a forlorn "Hey Adam, can I come in?"

"Sure Jerome ,come on in" he smiled at his friend as he pushed the large double doors open, shutting them behind him as Jerome sat on the desk chair "what's up?" Adam jumped up onto the computer desk and looked down at his friend

"Nothing buddy, just bored"

Adam made a face at Jerome that made him think that Adam didn't entirely believe him "what?!"

"You're missing Mitch and don't even try to deny it dude, it's written all over your face" Adam was right, he always was! And his painful accuracy made the Bacca flinch a little "it's been too long" Jerome breathed as if talking to himself, trying to justify his intense longing for his companion "I know, come on, we can do a couple of videos to take your mind off it."
