I let out a shaky breath as Blaine pulled up in front of FlAvor. Coming back to New York City was a huge step for me. We stayed in Rochester for two more days and then I decided that it was time to go. Not only because of me, but because Blaine had a business to run and I've kept him away long enough from it.

But maybe we should have stayed just a little longer.

Looking out of the window, I saw the tall buildings and the confined atmosphere, and I suddenly felt claustrophobic.

"Blaine," I whispered, grabbing his hand tightly in mine. "I don't think I'm ready for this."

"Sweetheart, look at me." He got my attention when he lifted his hand to my chin. "You got this. And I'll be here. Every step of the way until you're comfortable again. Okay?"

I only have the strength to nod at him.

"I just need to get something out of the club. You can wait in here, if you want."

"No," I shook my head. "No, I need to do this. Better now than later."

Blaine didn't say anything, but he squeezed my hand gently in reassurance. I take my small bag from the back seat, open the door and step out of the car. The streets were not as busy as I thought it would be, but I was thankful for that. Blaine reached for my hand and leads us back to where my life changed forever.

Everything was spick and span, not a lick of dust in sight. There were no security around, but just a janitor or two and Jennings, the bartender. Everything seemed normal, until my eyes follow the restroom where I had been chloroformed. I should've let Breanna stay with me. That was my mistake. Though, even if she had stayed, it could've gotten so much worse.

"I have a surprise for you," he said, taking me out of my thoughts. My eyes perk up in interest. "Two actually."

"What are they?"

"The first one is upstairs. C'mon." He seemed more excited than I am at the moment, but seeing his smile lifted one on my face. He was absolutely contagious.

We both walked onto the elevator and I noticed that Blaine typed in a longer, different code.

"You changed it?" I asked him as we ride up.

"When I recovered well enough, yes. I'll write it down for you so you can have it. I've tightened up the security here. What happened to you will never happen. Trust me on that." He spoke with such authority that it sends shivers down my spine and tingles down my lady parts that have been aching for him for a few days now.

"I trust you," I said softly to him. "You got me."

His eyes met with mine and I noticed the fire and the underlying lust hidden. His low voice is a caress in my ears as he replied, "Always got you. Now, stop looking at me like that before I stop this elevator."

"Wouldn't want that, would we?" I smirked at him. Blaine slowly raised an eyebrow and moved closer towards me, but the elevator pings and the doors open wide. "Looks like we'll have to play later."

"We will," he murmured in salacious promise. "C'mon."

We walked out of the elevator to the door. I haven't seen this place in weeks. All thoughts from my first night here to now rushes back to me. I blink away tears as Blaine opened the door with his key.

"Estas en mucho apuro, Adri! (You are in so much trouble, Adri!)"

I saw Mickey jump up and before I know it, she's hugging me. I hugged her back with equal enthusiasm. The tears that I tried to force away started to fall. Then I felt another pair of arms engulf around me as well. Bre.
