**Kenya’s POV**

“We can’t just sit here and do nothing on the outside!” I remarked to Lisa, who was sitting next to me.

“What do we do then?” Lisa retorted.

“Grab the laptop and whatever else we’ll need. We’re going on a little road trip.” I responded.

She started packing up cords and computers I started to help her shut down everything when all of a sudden a knock at the door. We both stop moving, I mouth the words, “Don’t move,” I motion towards the door, “I am going to see who it is.” Lisa nodded her head in understanding.

I looked through the peephole and saw Clare crying, “Agent Shane, um are you there?” She sounded scared and a little bit nervous, something was utterly wrong. That six sense kicked in, and I looked over at the counter to see my bag. I ran over and reached into my bag to pull out my gun. I approached the door once again.

"Hey! Hey!" Lisa exclaimed as quietly as she could’ve before I reached the door, "It's just Clare, Kenya! You don't need your gun!"

I turned towards her and put my index finger to my lips. I opened the door, and Clare burst through. She seemed concerned, no paranoid, when she saw me and said, “I am so sorry...”

“For what?” I catechized.

“H-He made me!” I looked at my feet to see a shadow from behind me of a man. He was one of Kalel’s men. I just knew it. I quickly turned and held up my gun ready to shoot. The man took the gun and slapped it out of my hands. I swung and hit the man in the face. He stumbled back a little before regaining his balance, he then paused and spit blood onto the wooden flooring.

“ RUN!” I commanded Lisa and Clare.

“No, Kenya, we’re not leaving without you!”

Just then, the man took his cold bare hands and wrapped them around my neck. I was losing consciousness quickly and I pointed to the gun on the floor. Lisa’s eyes met where I was pointed and she picked up the gun from the floor, took the safety off of the gun and said, “Let go of her or...or I’ll shoot.”

I kneed him in the stomach and kicked him to the floor. The three of us woman stood around him as he slowly put his hands in the air.  I slowly back away and grabbed a pot from the the kitchen floor. I slowly approached the man as Lisa continued, “No one has to get hurt.”

I then swung the pot as hard as I possibly could, and the man fell to the floor unconscious. I placed the pot on the counter and said, “Lisa, help me grab his body and put it in the truck.” After we placed him in the trunk, Lisa and I helped calm down Clare, who was still crying and shaking in fear.

“You know, Clare, it isn’t your fault” I told her in a soothing voice.

“He came to my house and said that if I didn’t do what he said he would kill me. S-so, I did.” She disclosed.

I wasn’t any help, “Even after you did what he told you he was going to kill you anyways.” Lisa gave me a glare and then turned her attention towards Clare.

“Clare I need you to think,” Lisa remarked, gently gripping her on the upper arms, “When you were at your apartment, did he say who he was working for?”

“I-I don’t remember.” She answered in a scared voice.

“Clare try...” Lisa begged.

“Right before we left my house, his phone rang.”  She told us.

“Okay, Clare, that’s a start.” Lisa said, “Anything else you can remember?”

“The...the person on the phone sounded like a woman.” Clare recalled. Lisa and I looked at each other, thinking the same thing.
