I was coming back to my room to sleep after I brushed my teeth. Tonight, I was alone in my room as my sister had a sleepover at her friend's house.
I turned the heater on and changed into my pajamas. I plugged in my earphones and started to arrange my books for school tomorrow. Suddenly, I heard a sound, like a knock, on my window. Alarmed, I checked my window but found nothing suspicious. I left it unlocked, just incase I forget to turn off the heater.
I turned up thew volume and slipped under the covers. I was just about to fall asleep when I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder, and one my earphones was taken out of my ear.
"hey'' he said. I knew his voice all to well. What is he doing here? Before I could speak, he spoke again.
"Let me stay, just for tonight, I promise." his breath tickled my ear "Please."
I said nothing, I couldn't muster up something to say.
He slipped into the covers with me and lay beside me. My back pressed against his chest. He buried his head in my shoulder and inhaled deeply. Creep. I smiled and put my earphone back in my ear.
Next morning I woke up smiling. I had a good sleep. I turned around to look at him, but he was gone.
The heater was off but the window was open.
