Today I'll tell you a story

But listen, this has no moral

It says the truth, and the truth only

Of how the Good falls

There was once a boy

Brave, honest and yet naive

He deserved the best, so good was he

He had scars, yet he would strive.

He had learnt his lesson

Learnt from his mistake

But it seems that wasn't the end

Lord wasn't done with him yet.

The good guy, he had his heart set on a girl

A girl he thought to be an Angel,

His world disappeared when she was near

And he admired her from afar.

Time flew, he finally told her

Told her where his heart belonged

But thew girl, so scared of ruin, she

turned him down and fled.

Heartbroken, he floated around

Like a ghost. a mist, see through

He thought his friends, whom he treasured,

were gonna leave him too.

But no, they weren't friend really,

They were poison, a dose given daily

The jealous, dirty, lowlives he pitied;

The naive knight fell in all his glory.

She came back, the Angel

She bent down to him, and whimpered

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" she whispered.

The good fell, the bad won.
