Shawn's POV

It's been two months. Amara has no memory back.

You know, sometimes I think we're just wasting our time. Wasting our time with the memories. Not because Amara doesn't deserve it, or she isn't important enough to have even some kind of closure. Because, she deserves the world.

However, the world is too cruel for her.

I feel like we're wasting our time because it's not her fault. It's not her fault her memory isn't coming back. It's not her fault the Jeep rolled down a hill and into the ditch. It's not her fault she got in that car with me. It's mine. I made her earn my trust. And it lead to this. She doesn't deserve this at all.

I've been active with her though. I know I think that it's a waste, but I have a feeling it's helping her. It's helping her get back to the old Amara. We do a memory every day, obviously one that's extremely huge and memorable in terms of our relationship, and ours with mine and her parents/families. I'm not going to take all the credit. I was the one who started this, after all.

We review memories such as her learning how to drive. I still remember that day.

----------- (they were just friends in the flashback everyoneeeeee)

"Shawn!" I heard her sing from downstairs. "Hurry up! I don't want it to get dark before we do the test!" She sounded annoyed. I smiled to myself and looked at my "outfit" in the mirror.

I was wearing padded sweatpants, rubber boots, a thermal sweater, gloves, two pillows strapped onto my chest, and a helmet. Chuckling, I walked downstairs feeling confident and proud of what I was doing.

Her eyes landed on me and I stifled a laugh.

"What. The. Hell." Her jaw dropped. I shot her a grin and looked down at myself.

"Do you like it?" I said as I twinkled my jazz hands.

"Um," She started circling me slowly, taking a close look of what I put together. "Are you kidding me?" She crossed her arms and pursed her lips.

Those lips.

Snap out of it.

"Do you think I'm really gonna do that bad?" She pouted. I smirked at her and she frowned.

----- in the car--------

"Okay," I sighed. "You ready?"

She gripped the steering wheel at 10 and 2 and took a deep breath.

"I think so." She managed a smile and looked at me. I was strapped in with 4 seat-belts, along with the protection I was wearing, so I'm pretty sure I'll be okay.

Jokes.

She'll nail it.

She backed out of the driveway perfectly and made a right turn onto the main road. She was going exactly the speed limit, so she hit ALL green lights. She was just zooming by like nobody's business.

The windows were open, along with the sunroof of my Jeep. Her brown hair was flying everywhere, and she had the biggest smile on her face. She changed lanes to the right, just beside a ditch.
