54. Skype Date

Harry- He sighs, starring at the digital pixels of you. You smile, trying to make the best of it, but it was so hard. “I love you,” he whispers, pulling his curly hair back. He tries to make a smile, but it falls. He says he has to go, and hangs up before he starts crying. You never knew how hard it was to make a long distance relationship work. You stare at his Skype name go from on to off, and stare at the blank screen for what seems like decades, knowing he was on that screen not to long ago.

Liam- He holds up the puppy, as the puppy licks the camera, and all you see is the tongue. Laughing and smiling, you watch as Liam puts the new puppy down and stares at the online you. Smiling, you tell him how much you long him. “I love you more than the sun loves the moon.” You smile, happy to see him. “I miss you so much,” he’ll say, as if that changes it all. 

Louis- Once the call comes through you hesitate. Do you really want to cry today? but you jump at the chance to see Louis. It’s been so long, and you really were missing him. It was terrible. You smile at him, you really had missed him. “I love you, and I miss you, and I wish you were here,” you say in one breath, finishing it with a reassuring smile. He nods, agreeing in the camera. “I love you so fucking much, babe,” he’ll say, before he ends the call.

Niall- You wait all day for the single call you wait for. Tour had taken him countries away - without you. It’s been horrible, seeing pictures of him in the store, and breaking down into tear. “I love you, Niall.” He’d nod, wiping one of his own tears, before saying, “I wish you were in my arms right now, I wish you were sitting right here, right next to me.” He’d smile, trying to make the call worth while, but you just missed him terribly.

Zayn- He hated Skype, and the Skype calls. It frustrated him when the call got foggy or your picture wouldn’t work. He’d sigh, and call you on the phone, but when he’s countries away, it seems that he has to Skype call you. He just has to see you again. It’s to much pain missing you so much. Even if it freezes, he still sees your face. He just misses, you and that’s about all he says. He goes over and beyond saying ‘I love you, stay safe, I miss you, you look so pretty and I’m missing it.’
