Harry: There he is, Harry, your ex. He’s wondering around the clothing store and you’ve desperately trying to find an escape before he notices you. He looks up, his gaze catching yours for a moment before your duck down. Its been a few months since the breakup but it’s still hard for you to see him, especially in person. While you’d been crying yourself to sleep for weeks, Harry had been out taking numerous nameless women home to the apartment you’d shared with him. “I’ve always liked prints on you” he says, peering over the rack of clothes you’d ducked behind. “Yeah, me and every other girl you’ve brought up since the breakup” you scoff, standing upright to push past him. “I’m sorry. I thought, I thought I could imagine you instead of them” he says softly, gripping your elbow gently. “You thought of me while fucking those whores you brought to the home we shared?” you hiss and he sighs. “NO! I, I tried… I know that’s no better but I couldn’t do it, in the end. I couldn’t get it up, I couldn’t even get them past the living room before I was pushing them out the door. I’m sorry, so sorry for making you think I took them to the bed we shared” he says softly, tears filling his eyes. “Please, please take me back. Please give me another chance, give me another chance to make it up to you. Give me another chance to make you happy” Harry begs but you shake your head. ‘It’s going to take so much more than watery words for me to trust you again” you tell him, wriggling out of his hold before walking out of the store.

Liam: You can’t seem to find your way out of the venue fast enough. People are crowding your escape and you’re desperate. Liam had spotted you at the Aquatics Center, eyes locked on yours as he pushed his way through the crowd towards you. All you wanted to do was cheer on Michael Phelps in his quest to be the most decorated Olympian but here you where, searching for an exit before his race even started. You looked behind you, sighing when you couldn’t see Liam but continued on your quest towards a back exit. A hand wrapped around your wrist gently, turning you around and there he was. “(Y/N)…I, can I talk with you?” he asks, eyes searching yours and you shake your head. “No Liam… leave me alone! You broke up with me, for her. Remember?” you question, referring to his ex while trying to escape his grasp. “I didn’t, that’s not why I ended things; no matter what anyone says. I was gone too much, you were home alone so much and I thought, I thought it’d be better if you could find someone who could be around more” he tries to explain. “That’s a shit excuse Liam. I love you, I don’t care if I’m home alone, just as long as you come home to me at the end of tours I’ll be alright” you cry, shrugging your shoulders against the wall and he sighs before pulling your into his arms. “I’m a prick love, please forgive me. Give me another chance?” he asks. “You can start with making sure I don’t miss Michael swim” you sniff and he chuckles before leading you back to the pool.

Niall: “How are you?” Niall asks, poised in front of you at the pub and you shrug your shoulders. “Fine” you answer and you are. It’s been a month since the breakup and you haven’t a chance to be upset yet. You’ve been swamped with finals and tonight was your first night out since school ended. “That’s good” he says, shifting sideways as some brushes past him. “Yup, well…I should get back to the girls” you say, spinning on your heels before disappearing into the crowd. You push past the grinding bodies towards the bathroom, turning down a hallway before pressing against a wall. You heave deeply, forehead pressed against the cool wood as you sob quietly. You’re struggling not to cry and failing. Arms wrap around you, pulling you back against a familiar chest. “I know” Niall says, breathing deeply until you’re matching the gentle rise and fall of his chest. “Can I, take you to coffee so we can talk about everything” Niall questions once you’ve turned to lean your back against the wall. “You hate coffee” you state. “But you love it. I want you back and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get you back. I know it’ll take time but if I have to drink coffee everyday to prove I’m serious about this then I’ll do that” Niall says and you give him a small smile before giving him a time and place to meet you.

Louis: You were out with a friend for a girls day out in London. The two of you were scanning the windows of the shops, looking for anything that caught your eye. As you made your way down the street you hear a footsteps running up behind you. The two of you move out of the way, but when you turn around your eyes widen in shock. “Hi (y/n).” he says. “Hi Louis.” You say hanging your head. The two of you had broken up only a week ago and seeing him was still hard for you. “Well, I think I’m going to go in here for a bit.” You friend says pointing to the shop behind you. “I miss you,” he says once she is inside. You look at him in confusion. “Lou, you were the one that broke up with me, remember?” “Worst decision of my life.” He says hanging his head. “Then why did you do it?” you ask. “I don’t know (y/n). I really don’t. I guess I felt that the longer we were together, the harder it would be to stay together, so I guess I ended it before it got hard.” He explains. “Lou.” You say with a sigh. “Lou relationships are supposed to be hard, but I told you endless times that I was always going to be there for you no matter what.” “I know you did, and I believed you.” “Not enough to let me prove it.” You say letting your head fall back down. “(y/n) can you please give me another chance? I promise I won’t let you down.” You look into his eyes and find the sincerity you were looking for and stretch up to kiss his forehead. “Call me tonight.” You say as you walk into the store to join your friend.

Zayn: “(y/n)!” you hear as your turn around to see who was screaming your name. The club was crowded but it wasn’t hard to spot the person you were looking for. Your ex-boyfriend, who had broken up with you a few weeks prior because he ‘didn’t want you to have to deal with him being gone’, or so he said. “Hi Zayn,” you say as he approaches you at the bar. “You here with anyone?” he questions looking around for anyone he recognized. “Why does that matter?” you ask. “Because I want you to come home with me,” he says flat out letting you know he hasn’t been drinking. “Why?” you question. “Because I miss you (y/n), plus the house misses you.” He says cheekily. “Yeah I’m sure it does, you not so much.” You say with your usual condescending tone. “Oh come on (y/n), I get it, the excuse I gave for the break up with fucking stupid, but I love you.” You stare into his eyes and find no trace of falsehood in his face. You take his hand and let him lead you out of the club.
