"Dango?" Emiko questioned. Currently Sasuke had cut their journey short. They were susposed to be meeting Karin and the others back at the Hotel but apparently something else had caught his eye more. It seemed as though he hadn't heard her but she was soon to understand. The sudden realization hit her like a bus. It was shocking how a simple dango shop could bring back a thousand memories. At the sight of the dango shop, Images of Itachi plauged both of their minds...
Without a doubt, Itachi was a good man. Emiko's parents paid the Uchiha to take her under his wing and train the girl. All of this made her them happy, except his was one exception. Emiko was moved to train with Itachi elsewhere than her normal training spot.
This meant no supervison. As a result, he took her and Sasuke to Dango every day after her training. Those days were a delecacy to Emiko as she was banned from all things sugary. Itachi on the other hand knew all about this, and was more than happy to induldge the young girl.
But he was gone now and both of them accepted the fact. Even Emiko, although she'd never even gotten the chance to properly say goodbye to the man. It saddened her but she knew in her heart that she had to be strong. If there was one thing she knew Itachi wished for was to be there for Sasuke. And that is what she would do.
"Well" Emiko let out a dry laughter, "I say we go in" Slowly Sasuke turned toward the girl. His onyx eyes were evident of sadness, but she knew for a fact that he'd refuse to display it. "Come on, it'll be on me." Sasuke's gaze was glued to hers as he hadn't processed what she said yet.
"You can forget it while you're at it, Emiko" Sasuke looked to the ground, smirking. "I'm not gonna let you pay" Slowly, her lips curved upward into a smile,"Sorry to Immasculate you" And with that said, she strutted ahead, opening the shop door. "You coming?" she eyed him, her Amethyst eyes gleaming deviously.
"Tch" defeated, the Uchiha entered the store.

"Where have you two been?" Suigetsu asked. Clearly the group had been waiting outside for quite some time now. "Relax" Sasuke shoved his hands in his pockets, "I had to speak with Madara about Emiko" Karin looked the blonde up and down with jealousy filled eyes, "About what?" she spat.
"As you all know, Emiko is wanted from every nation at the moment" Sasuke crossed his arms, closing his eyes, "For that reason I want to make sure Zetsu doesn't give us away at the Kage Summit. It's imparative that do not let her fall into the enemies hands." Karin rolled her eyes, "I'm sure she'll be able to handle herself"
"I don't know why you're acting like you can" Suigetsu remarked, as they trudged up a hill. "Hey" Emiko interjected, looking to the sky. She turned back to the group with a smile,"It's snowing"
Snowflakes danced throughout the air as they continued walking. As time went on the snow had picked up, dusting the trees and hills. It produced a certain silence, that even quieted Karin and Suigetsu. It took quite some time, but they finally reached it. The place where the Five Kage Summit were to take place.
"So this is it, huh?" Suigetsu took in his surroundings. "Crap, there's so many guards. It's gonna be impossible to get in" Sasuke sighed in annoyance, and looked to Juugo, "Use your birds to find another way in"
But Emiko looked ahead, spotting a certain Kage. She froze, that was him...the one from the magazine. Why did she feel so drawn to him? She couldn't remove her eyes from him. Sure he was what other women might find attractive but... there was just something about the man.
