"We are products of our past,
but we don't have to be
prisoners of it."

Days had passed and soon the Kazekage had received an important message. He was ordered by the elders to leave the village and make peace with a village the sand had clashed with for many years.
"I'm going to miss you..." Emiko tightened her grip around the boy, almost refusing to let him go. Five and a half weeks was a long time to be away from the Kazekage, now more than ever. Especially now that his fangirls knew they were together. Gaara let out a short sigh, before giving her a kiss to the forehead.
"I'll be back before you know it" reluctantly, he then turned to leave. The scary part of his absence was: Kankuro was forced to take over his duties.
"..Yessss!" Kankuro cheered, while Gaara had disappeared in the distance. Temari, along with Emiko, flashed the boy a look of disgust. "Mind you, I'm just as liable to take over if you even think of doing something reckless." Temari crossed her arms flashing him a sharp glance.
"..Yeah Yeah..." He rolled his eyes."Excuse me, Temari...I have to get to work now" Kankuro was fully aware Temari hadn't taken liking to Gaara's decision and he flaunted it with pride.
Whilst passing through the village, the women began to stare at Emiko. Some of them, stares of wonder, others filled with jealousy. The word had spread of her involvement with the Kazekage of Suna. The next thing that occurred was whispers, which sadly was followed by fanatic fan girls.
" I heard she was a stripper!" A group of them stopped, giggled and "whispered" to each other. "No wonder he likes her" Kankuro, as well as Temari, took a look at Emiko as she stopped in her tracks. "Come on Emiko, ignore them."Temari grabbed at her arm. In turn, she had pulled from her grip and stopped in front of the group with a hurt look.
"What are you gonna do?" The leader of the group teased. Her statement was definitely more than she bargained for as ice was sent forward, paving the road beneath their feet towards the girl.
"W-What are you doing!?" A friend of hers shrieked, as the ice had traveled up to the other's feet, trapping them both to the ground. "H-Help!"Alarmed, Emiko's eyes widened. She did it again. This time she had only been in a daze. It was almost as if her powers only acting on emotion. Without a word to say, she had taken off running the other direction.
"Emiko, Wait!" Kankuro yelled. But it was too late. Temari let out a groan of disgust. "Can't say you didn't get what you paid for" she smirked to the fan girls. Kankuro chuckled studying the group of girls. They acted as if the worst thing in the world had just happened.
"Hey, wait a second! Aren't you going to help me!?"

Once The siblings had returned home, Emiko was found sitting on the porch swing looking up to the stars. "Hey.." Temari sent Emiko a gentle smile, taking a seat beside her. "Hi.."She murmured in return. "That girl was right..you know" Emiko bit her lip, as Kankuro leaned against the railing of the porch. "I've done some horrible things to get by." Kankuro had nearly stumbled off the porch at her words, "You were a stripper?!"
Temari sent her sibling a death glare as Emiko let out a dry chuckle. "Not exactly.." Looking down to her lap, she explained, " Every time I got a job here...Once it was known I was "Emiko of the leaf" my bosses fired me." Sheepish with her next statement, she paused.."So.. I" she began, "I became an...exotic..dancer." Temari laid a hand on her shoulder, "You were out of options, Emiko.. it's not like you took your clothes off."
"The clothes I was wearing narrowed down to it..."
"So what? Temari snores in her sleep." Kankuro attempted to get a laugh from the girl. Temari flashed a deadly glare at her sibling, "..What did you say?" She demanded through clenched teeth. Kankuro's eyes widened as she raised her fist,"I have a thing for Ino!" He said fast, in order to counter Temari's bad habit.
Both girls jaws dropped, "Ino" Temari crossed her arms, as a sly expression crossed her face. "Since when...?" Kankuro shrugged, "None of your business. I have a thing for blondes, ok?" Temari let out a mocking cackle at her sibling as she got up to follow him.
"You coming in..?" Temari stopped, before entering the house. Emiko shook her head and motioned for her to leave, "It's alright. I could use some peace and quiet" Temari nodded, and left Emiko to herself.
The leaf nin looked up at the stars and Gaara's face seemed to sink itself into her mind. A light sigh escaped her lips as she hoped these five and a half weeks would go by fast. Everything seemed better when they were together. The villagers seemed to keep their rude comments to themselves even. The best part about the Kazekage was that he was able to bring out the best in Emiko. He had also helped her see things from a different perspective and that is what drew her to him. He made her think and realize things she would have never figured out on her own.
Unable to rid herself from thoughts of him, Emiko had fallen asleep on the porch swing.

"After all this time, I'm not going to let you leave it like this!" Juugo yelled at the Uchiha, angered he had pushed away Emiko. "Fine." Sasuke spat. He was really not in the mood to deal with an angry Juugo at this time. "Karin, track Emiko."Juugo commanded the red-head. "..Why?" She sneered with disgust.
"Do it." Sasuke sent the Uzumaki a dangerous look. Karin laughed nervously and did as-said, "Right..." she trailed, "I'm on it" she did a hand sign and closed her eyes for a moment..."It appears she had taken the road back to Suna with the Sand-Siblings. I'll lead the way"
Once team Taka had arrived in Sunagakure, they had followed close behind Emiko and the sand twins. Villagers had a word or two to say about the girl. Annoyed at the fact, Sasuke let out a sigh. He watched Emiko run from the group of Fangirls with a deadly stare.
"Sasuke, please be discreet...if I get trampled by another group of fangirls it'll be the end of me" Suigetsu whined. "I have no business with those idiots" He grumbled, as he picked up his speed towards Emiko.
Once they had reached the girl, there was nothing more for Taka to do than wait and listen for the opportunity to capture her. And once they had seen that opportunity?
Well they seized it.
