"I'm just so glad that Mahoor got back home,I just can't wait to get her back with Omer", Phuppo laughs in sheer, her over dramatic talks making Ammi annoyed while she just sips her tea.

"How can Mahoor stay with Omer now?", Ammi snapped.

"Why?I mean like..she is fine now to live with us and Omer", she stuttered, her face was caked in nervousness.

"Baji do you really assume us as fools?Do you really think that we would get fooled by all this?We are not that innocent, that we just can't judge the sins of your son,Omer.I can't believe how its just relatives who betray us,stab in our backs,I thought such things were committed by people that were mere enemies, who hated us,but still I trusted you.And the end included that our own people stabbed in our backs, how do you feel like now after all this, happy right?", Ammi said in a very serious manner, her tone cold so were her eyes.

Phuppo was just biting her nails, trying to cover up with lies, lies to comfort but how can a person believe in those lies when he is already aware of the truth.

"No Fareeha, nothing's wrong,I will ask Omer to stop his wrongdoings", Phuppo explained pulling the hem of her shirt.

"That is it,now I just excuse you and Omer can now easily enjoy his life with Pernia and Danial and Sofia,he'll be glad", she said in a sardonic way and walked towards the car and then to drove away.

"Ammi please!", I pleaded my eyes on the verge of tears.

"STOP IT MAHOOR", Ammi yelled at the top of lungs.

"How can I see you in such state, you were living with each one of them like they meant the world to you, like they didn't even make you feel hurt and all.How can you even live with such devils?Don't you ever feel guilty or something? Why can't you just take a better care of your heart? Why are you lying to yourself Mahoor? Why are you trying to betray your own self? What would you get by living with him?Happiness? You will only get his wrath, his fire, his anguish, his yelling and scolding, his torturing, his rude behaviour, his disturbing orders, his orders to move away from his real family, his annoyed face whenever you see him when he just arrives, his eyes would always send you disgust nothing else, there will come a day when he'll leave you Mahoor just because of that Pernia and his kids, and how can you even imagine that his kids will accept you?Don't let yourself down Mahoor.Don't cry your heart out for him,he is of no worth", Ammi explained.

"But Ammi is there anyone who'll just marry me,even though they just don't know if I'll survive or not?And the fact that I'm divorced? No body in our culture accepts the woman who's divorced, and you may have to listen people's talks and gossips, unbearable they are", I confessed.

"Its my headache you don't need to worry", Ammi mentioned standing up.

The mobile bell ringed.

"Asalamo Alaikum?"

"Walaikum Asalam, how are you now Mahoor?I just got to know that you were...forget it but can I visit you?", she asked her tone unexpectedly without any emotion.

"Oh sure why not?How was your wedding?", I continued.

"It went great, are you getting along Omer?", she asked getting scared.

"Its just that...are you visiting today?", I changed the topic.

"If you aren't busy or if its not your resting time then I will, can I?", she asked on the other side of the phone.

"Oh sure I've told you before", I laughed half-heartedly.

"Hold on I am coming in a minute or two, take good care of yourself Mahoor", she bidded goodbye and I placed the phone on the drawer beside the bed.

__

She entered in and then whatsoever happened didn't matter and I could feel more brighter and better.None of it mattered as I pulled her in,wrapping my arms around her and realising how I just ached to see her.On the other hand she was just too over excited as usual,I actually missed her weirdness and craziness.I missed her for the fondness of her tight hugs, herself spoken demeanour, her vanilla shampoo,I've missed every bit of it.

But just as I left it something diverted my vision. He was standing there, erected with his tall figure, wearing the denim jeans with a plain t shirt, but it still suited him,he was even taller than before, taller than the last time. His hair, cocoa colored were neatly combed and settled. He was just same as I left him in childhood but it was that puberty hit him like a truck, his jawline was sharper, peachfuzz all over his face, showing his manly behaviour, his eyes were shining with the same usual blissfulness and his mouth was curled into a soft, thin smile which was exact the same like his pencil like nose.He had a more fair complexion but his deep brown eyes were still the same, where someone could stare in for all his life.

His eyes hovered over me like he didn't know who I was.

"Asalamo Alaikum I'm Taha,Jannat's husband", he said shyly.

"Walaikum Asalam,I know you Taha, its me Mahoor", I smiled.

"Mahoor,is it really you?I mean you just really...", he replied suddenly out of words.

"Can you just go visit aunty she was searching for you", Jannat said trying to send him away.

"Oh okay I'll see you soon take care Mahoor", Taha smiled and then trailed off.

*

"So you're getting married once again,oh my gosh so now surely I can do bhangraa, lmao", she laughed hardly with her noisy chuckles taking in deep breaths.

"Who is it?", she asked desperately.

"I don't even know myself go ask Ammi", I called.

"No no I just can't dare for something like that", she said anxiously.

"But please Mahoor let it be that hot guy,his name is Sameer right, you both would definitely look good together", she smiled daydreaming.

"Wait I'll tell aunty that you love him and then--", she grinned and then went downstairs.

"JANNAT", I yelled through gritted teeth but she had already left.

My lips curled uncontrollably like I fancied him.
