My eyes were still gleaming with a hope for her to be mine.All of this was driving me wild,even though I was trying hard not to fall for her,but everything she does,from her frowing to her growing happiness she makes me heart shake.

A sudden glow reaches to me whenever I just get to see her and my heart just aches to reach out for her and just say it all but will I be able to express my feelings into words?
What if she just refuses?
She just have to say yes and I'll do it my way.

Because she is the only thing I want,she is different and shines brighter than gold,she's something like adventure,someone who's hard to understand but I already comprehended her and now I can't stop my affection for her.

In a sky full of stars I just saw her,only her face.

"What does it feel like?", Taha questioned.

"What?", I muttered.

"To be in love", he teased dancing in the air.

"Can't you just stop,instead it should be me asking you such things because its you getting married now", I replied narrowing my eyes on him,and he suddenly blushed.

"Do you feel it like heart strings and violins,when you are by her side?", he asked teasingly.

"Nope", I replied popping the 'p'.

"Oh so don't you even find the winds blowing", he went on.

"Can you just leave the room?!",I almost yelled and he suddenly realising that my blood was boiling,stormed out of the room saying,

"Okay but I know you definitely get heartbeats racing faster than a sports car"

He was right at this point.

I walked out of the room and reached the stairs.On reaching the room I quickly paced towards the window to glance at her for once.As expected she was there,and sitting isolated,her eyes fixed on the pale moon.Thankfully she didn't saw me standing and I quickly plopped on the seat beside the piano.It was the best way to say what I really wanted to.

"I'm gonna pick up the pieces and build a lego house,if things go wrong we can knock it down"

"My three words have two meanings,there's one thing on my mind,its so for you"

"And its dark in a cold December but I got to keep you warm"

"If you're broken I'll mend ya and keep you sheltered from the storm,that's raging on now"

"I'm out of touch,I'm out of love,I'll pick you up when you're getting down"

"But after all these things I've done I think I love you better now"

Playing with the exact melody was hard and it felt as if my voice needed to be in,for the song to reach her and then I begin,being confident than ever amd hoping she would hear me and maybe fall for me just like I did.

With that I just moved the curtains slightly to a side and see her face.It was a mere supernova,shining brightly and with high spirits.She was like stars which only can be seen in the midst darkness of the night.

But then a voice filled my ears.

"To Mahoor"

I moved my head and saw Taha,a devilish grin plastered on his eyes,and he just got nearer to the curtains pulling them aside so that we both got a closer view of ourselves and I was just trying to fight him off,pouncing on him yelling,

"Can you please stop Taha?!"

Without even looking at her I could sense her looking at me and just laughing out of all this.Momentarily my eyes just shifted to her window but it was empty but then they searched for the balcony where she was giggling.

But after that something happened which may be certainly defined as a reflex action but not even a reflex action it was when I just moved my hand slightly waving at her,without even wishing to.

And then she waved back.I guess newton was really right,every action has an equal and opposite reaction,the reaction was totally opposite of what I imagined.

Did that mean she likes me too?

"Why were you here Taha?", I asked him getting up from the seat,my eyes sending hatred to him while he just smiled half heartedly.

"Amma was calling you downstairs", he replied squinting his eyes,just to escape from my scolding.

"Did you say something to her about all of this?", I breathed out furiously.

"Noo", he blurted yelping.

With that I dashed to Amma's room where was engrossed in reading something.

I walked gracefully towards her.

When her eyes noticed me,a soft smile came in her lips and she motioned me to sit down beside her.

"I received a phone call from Fareeha and she was also talking about her daughter's marriage proposal for you", she paused and then looked at me.

"Do you love someone?", she questioned looking deeply in my eyes,my eyes just darting to the walls and failed to look in her eyes.

"I mean is it fine by you,about you getting married to Mahoor,by the way she really is a nice girl", Amma recalled her previous phrases which reminded me of that day when she asked me the same question.

"Amma I know that your decision is never wrong and it always benefits me so if you think it is fine then its a yes from me", I replied stopping myself from stuttering and my cheeks burned for which I was ashamed as I had just given her my answer as a yes indirectly even though she was aware of everything,ofcourse as she was my mother.

"Great.Now we'll just go tomorrow to get the dates fixed.", Amma smiled goofily.

Was it happening?
But would she say a yes?
