Angie, it is my duty to protect you. my very, life depends upon it. and i'm far stronger and more powerful than you can ever imagine. but i appreciate your concern, foolish as it might be." he said, attempting to don a sober expression. even though his eyes were still alight, and the corners of his mouth threaten to twitch again.
" you don't get it. do you? it's in my nature to mess things up. do you even see me join any sort of sports? we shared one class for a year Mark. you know what i'm talking about. i'm not qualified to be a leader of any sort. and the sooner you get rid of me, the better." this time, i was the one who put a hand on his shoulder.
" i'm sorry Mark, but i can't stand to spend the rest of my life being your Mistress. i want to finish my studies then take an English Lit course that majors in creative writing. and go back to my family.
