i raised my sword just in time to avoid being hit on the shoulder. i moved one step backward, applying David's advice to elude my opponent's series of attacks.
and also so i would be able to gather his footwork and determine whee his next attack would come from.
a feat that would have been relatively easier if i can even follow the dizzying speed with which his feet trade places.
