i hardly saw Mark, he seemed as busy as he'd ever been on his Master vamp's duties.
that it triggered a most unusual effect on me. i felt restless, as if there was something that should be there but wasn't a strange feeling of something.
and last night, i had the mistake of inviting Mark to accompany me to the marketplace.
i hadn't meant to. but it just sort of slipped out of my mouth. truth was, i was just so overwhelmed of seeing him again, for what seemed like weeks when he had been gone for only a few days and i blurted it out without thinking.
he seemed just as surprised of it as i was, but instead of declining or providing a liable excuse, which i would have preferred. he said yes.
so now, here i am, making a through examination on my face. which was bare, except for some pressed powder and a bit of cherry flavored lip gloss on my lips. my hair was pulled back in a half pony by a tortoiseshell barette. leaving some strands to flow freely down my shoulders to my back.
it looked nice enough. as was the modest, white sleeveless sundress i wore, under the mint, green half- cardigan i had on.
