Okay, let's do this. I'm gunna improvise a bit of the story. I mean, I know how the story will proceed and end, but everything else, I'll leave it to the characters to carry and lay out themselves :) Maybe later, I'll see how the story is going and plan it out fully.

Be aware I'm horrible at North and Bunny's accents D:

Enjoy :3

Vita raised her hand up to meet the feather that drifted towards her and grabbed it between her index and thumb, making sure not to hurt the fragile soul that she held between her fingers. A feather meant that there was another baby to deliver to their mother and home. After being born, the parent or guardians are the ones to take care of the kids, but for now, it was Vita's job to take the feather and guide it to its destination.

Escort, don't lead. That was Vita's motto.

She couldn't actually take the feather and hand it over to the mothers. If she did that, she found that the kids grew up to become weak and spoiled. Instead, she had to wait until the soul felt like going to their new home, and help them along. She directs them towards the right way, and gives the feathers small pokes when they seem hesitant. In the end, if they couldn't find their way home, it was because their parents has either given up on their child or it was because the child was simply not ready for their journey. In this case, since the feather had come to Vita by itself, it was more than ready to join the new world and meet the new parents.

Vita tucked the feather into her pouch that hung right below her hip bones and whistled at the mass of white beside her. Out from the blur of fur and plumes emerged a majestic crane, -Vita's own helper and company- fit with a silvery band around its slim neck and ankles, similar to the ones that hung around Vita's own ankles.

"Come Mari, it's a job."

Mari stretched her neck to the full length and shuddered before ruffling her feathers and crouching down, laying her left wing flat. She eyed Vita who was already up and ready, getting on her soft back, settling in the middle of the crane's spine. Vita nodded and started smoothing the odd tufts that stuck up at the wrong places on Mari's neck. Pleased, Mari crooned and released her right wing to flutter a few times before the lifting off into the air. The crane looked behind towards Vita as if asking, 'Where to?' and Vita smoothed her hands along the draw cord of her pouch before replying, "China."

At North Pole, North's workshop was loud and boisterous as ever. North and Jack were taking a leisure stroll around the place to check over the yetis and elves for the millionths time that day.

"No touch!" North cried when he saw Jack getting dangerously close to the new made snow globes, equipped with more than one use and a little Christmas carol along with it that played whenever it was thrown through the air. Seeing it, Bunnymund complained that a belly hurling portal definitely did not need a cheery medley to go along with it, but North was too proud to hear Bunny's dissatisfaction and was now in love with his new creation, swearing in Russian that he would use it for Christmas that was a few months away.

Jack laughed before tapping the snow globe a few times just to irritate the big man and ran behind North again, slicking up the floors behind him.

In the eighteen years that have passed since Pitch's defeat, Jack had become considerably closer to North who in turn, believed that Jack was somewhat like a son he never had. The rest of the guardians would say the same, except Jack seemed to spend most of his times with North who was the closest person who understood how to have fun, building the tiniest masterpieces and giant machines that flew and twirled all around North's rooms and hallways. The rest of the guardians were not as understanding as North when Jack decided to freeze a few of their eggs, baby teeth or sand. Jack learned that quick enough and stuck to North, unless he felt mischievous and decided to play with the other guardians. If he wasn't with the guardians, they didn't know where he was, but usually supposed that Jack was out creating snow days and fun like usual.
