Things for the moment were confusing to say the least. Dean really didn't like you being there. It wasn't that he didn't like being around you, he just hated feeling like there was an extra liability, another weak point for others. But Sam insisted you were good for him, finding a woman that was semi-okay with the life they lived was important, you grounded Dean, and begged you to stay.

Right now the boys were out spending some bonding time at a nearby lake. You decided to stay in, take some you time.

"Sam? Dean?" You heard Castiel's voice from the library.

"They're not here." You came around the corner to greet him. The two of you didn't have a lot of bonding either. You honestly knew almost nothing about Castiel besides he was an angel and is deeply devoted to the Winchesters, "Can I take a message?"

"Where are they?" Castiel asked, curious.

"They're taking some time off. They left early this morning to spend some peaceful times at Crystal lake." You told him.

"Oh. That's good. Dean needs peace." Castiel said, bobbing his head contently. You realized if you stared at him long enough, you began to see a halo appear above his head.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" You asked, feeling as though there was more to why he came.

"(Y/N).." Castiel said, "Can I ask you a question?"

"You just did." You smiled, teasing him.

"Can I ask you another question?" Castiel continued.

"You did it ag-" You realized if you kept doing that it'd probably go on forever. Dean said he took everything pretty literal, "Yeah, go ahead."

"Sam told me some strange powers were happening to you, that they seemed angelic in relation." Cass said, "Can you tell me about them?"

"Well, to be honest I don't know much." You said, sitting down at the table, "All I really know is that my knee cap was obliterated. There was no way I could walk. But I also know Sam and I need to get out of there fast, and Sam wasn't going to be able to carry me much longer with his arm sprained. Next thing I know, my hand glows and I'm walking."

"That's not all, is it?" Cass urges you to continue, sitting across from you. You debate sharing what happened with Matt. You hadn't told anyone but it was important, maybe Castiel knew

"I haven't told anyone before but I accidentally erased myself from my ex boyfriends brain." You said, sighing.

"You did what?" Cass rose his voice a bit.

"I didn't mean to. I just wanted him to give me up, to forget about me and move on. Then my hand glowed and it happened." You recounted the story to him.

"That power is extremely dangerous if you don't know how to use it." Cass said.

"I know that. I don't know what's happening alright. A few years ago I was completely normal. I had nothing happening to me." You explained. He stared at the table intently, as if he was trying to figure something out. You reached out to him and grabbed his forearm, "Castiel, if you think you know what's happening to me, please tell me."

"What color do your eyes glow?" Castiel asked. You tried to remember what Dean told you once.

"I think Dean said it was like a gray? It's not like yours, they aren't blue." You explained.

"It can't be.." Castiel stared up at you.

"What? What is it?" You urged, now nervous from his reaction.
