*Scotty's Pov.*

I sighed as I slid down the side of a wall outside of Kristen's apartment. God, why is this so difficult? Kristen and I have been in a hole for a while now and it just feels like it's been getting deeper. I've been pushing for us to just work through it but it just seems like neither one of us is willing to go any further.

Has meeting Felicia helped send me in the direction of this decision? I want to say no, that I was already going there on my own, but then I think about her and I immediately picture her as the other half of my relationship, not Kristen.

I drew in a sharp breath before standing up, dusting off my clothes, and knocking on the door. My thoughts were swarming and I was picking out the exact words I would say. I planned out the conversation to perfection but in just a few short seconds, my mind went blank.

"Scotty," Kristen said, surprised as she opened to door to reveal me standing there.

"H-hi," I stuttered. "Can I come in?"

"Sure," she replied. She obviously wasn't expecting me. I waited for her to open the door wider before stepping in. I looked around and noticed the blinds we closed and the table in front of the couch was piled high with snacks. The tv was glowing with the Netflix title screen. "Sorry for the mess, it's binge day with Kristen," she explained. (Fun fact: Kristen's roommate is also named Kristen.)

"Oh, its fine, this shouldn't take long," I replied. We both sat down on the couch and she flipped on a light. This time Kristen sighed.

"You met someone else... didn't you?" she asked, a look of disappointment reflecting in her eyes.

"What?" I asked.

"Look, I knew it was gonna happen, i just thought I had more time," she said. She looked sad and I felt pathetic.

"Kristen, I don't want to hurt you," I said.

"I know, Scott, I know," she sighed. "I hope she can make you as happy as I used to though. We've both been kidding ourselves and I think we both knew this was coming," she stated. Then she smiled. "I wish you luck and maybe after a while we can become friends again."

"I think I like the sound of that," I said, returning her smile. She reached over and hugged me.

"I'll miss you, Scotty," she said with a smile.

"I'll miss you too," I replied. She got up and walked me to the door. "See ya later, alligator."

"In a while, crocodile." I sighed confidently as she shut the door behind me. That went a lot better than expected.

I pulled out my phone and almost died when I saw the time. It was almost 6 o'clock! I had left Felicia at David's apartment for almost 5 hours. I'm so fucking stupid. I called and uber and took it to David's. I rushed up to his apartment and hurriedly knocked at the door.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," I heard a muffled voice say from inside. The door opened and I saw a very well dressed Alex standing in front of me.

"Hey, what's up Scott," Alex greeted.

"Where's Felicia?" I asked once I pushed past him and looked around the room.

"Oh, I sent her home hours ago," Alex replied, tying his tie.

"Thank you," I sighed in relief.

"Yeah do you need a ride there or something? I'm about to go by there in just a few minutes. I looked at him in disbelief because I couldn't believe he would go over to the house dressed up like that but then I shrugged it off. It must be for one of the vlogs.
