*Felicia's Pov.*
I wandered quietly into my room that I was sharing with Jasleen only to find two people asleep on top of the blankets. I quietly shut the door behind me and tip toed to my suit case. I was also able to catch a better look at the two people on the bed. I saw Zane lying there with a tight grip around Jasleen and the two of them seemed to be smiling.
It took every inch of my will power not to awe at them. It was so cute and I was so happy that they had found each other. I secretly shipped it before the two of them had even met. I knew they would like one another once they finally did have the chance to meet.
I picked up my clothes and stepped quietly to the bathroom that was attached to the bedroom. I shut the door, locked it, and started a shower. I was attempting to be as quiet as possible but that, as any person would know, felt completely impossible and the amount of anxiety that comes with trying to shower with two people sleeping in the next room.
I finally finished and rushed to wash my face, do my hair and makeup, and put on clothes. Once I was ready, I quietly opened the door and was relieved to see the two of them were still sound asleep. Before walking out, I wrote Jasleen a quick note so she wouldn't freak out about me not coming home. Then, with one last look, I left the room and quietly shut the door.
As I walked down the hallway, I pulled out my phone and noticed a few texts from Alex. "Hey, look I just wanted to say I had a lot of fun last night" he sent.
"Me too" I replied. His response was simple but cute. I hadn't been string down at my phone long before I felt myself collide with another human. I landed on the floor and my phone slid towards their feet.
"Shit, sorry," they apologized.
"Nope it's my fault," I said, picking myself up from the floor. I looked at the person who I had accidentally collided with and saw a slightly unfamiliar face. "Wait, Toddy, right?" I asked.
"Heh, yeah, that's me," the boy smiled shyly.
"Nice to finally meet you, sorta," I greeted with a small laugh. "I'm Felicia."
"Oh, trust me, I know," he stated.
"Um? You say that like you're annoyed or something," I replied.
"Well, I mean, Scotty has been rambling on and on about you since you got here and as his best friend, I'm obligated to listen," he said. "Sorry if I come across as rude."
"No it's fine. I'd be tired of me too," I laughed awkwardly. Toddy smiled and handed me my phone, which I was glad was still functioning.
"Looks like Alex is texting," he said. "Nice meeting you," and with a nod of his head, he entered a room and shut the door behind him.
"Alright then," I commented before walking into the main living area.
"Hey, you ready?" Heath asked. I guess he had been waiting for me to get ready.
"As I'll ever be," I replied with a smile. Heath wrapped his arm around my shoulder in a sort of side hug like he used to when I was little.
"My wittle sister is gwowing up," he teased as we walked outside.
"Heath," I protested. I tried to escape his grip but he just held me closer and messed up my hair. "Heath, stop!" I laughed. I got free but not before grabbing his keys from his pocket. "For me? You shouldn't have!" I laughed, holding up the keys before running to his truck. I jumped in and locked the doors.
"Oh come on, Felicia! I was joking," Heath said, all serious. Then he noticed my smile and smirked deviously himself. "But whatever, I guess you won't want this back then," he grinned as he held up my phone.
