P.O.V Third Person
The band were just about to go out on stage for the first show since Pete's big 'announcement'. Patrick couldn't deny that he was nervous, scared even. Pete had tried to calm him down by asking why they'd even come if they didn't like Patrick anymore and quickly following with a of course they like you.
Unfortunately, Pete was wrong. The fans were still very mad and through the course of the night many things were chucked at Patrick. But not just Patrick, Pete too.
Andy and Joe watched as their two best friends and band mates get things hurled at them. Glow sticks, shoes and even bottles. By the end of it Patrick and Pete took the microphone to say goodbye to everyone.
"Thanks for an.. interesting evening." Patrick scoffed, holding his aching head. "Interesting evening? You little shits almost hit me with a glass bottle!" Pete ranted into the microphone.
There was a small silence, silent for a concert anyway before someone threw another glass bottle at Pete only this time hitting his nose but not breaking the bottle. He held his nose, applying a lot of pressure to stop it from bleeding whilst some of the fans laughed.
Patrick, Andy and Joe ran over to him before Pete shooed them away. "Listen here, that wasn't funny!" Patrick said angrily. "You suck!" Shouted a member of the crowd before throwing yet another bottle at Patrick too, giving him a black eye.
Security pulled the band off of the stage before anyone could throw anything else.
The tour doctor came in to look at Pete's nose, making sure it wasn't broken. "How bad does it hurt?" The doctor asked, pushing Pete's head back and examining his bloody nostrils. "Oh it's just dandy." Pete retorted.
Patrick gave him a light slap on the back of the head.
"Sorry 'doc. It doesn't hurt too bad actu- OW STOP THAT!" Pete lurched forward, almost headbutting the doctor. "And how did that feel?" He asked sarcastically. "IT HURT A BIT." Pete shouted. "Good. Anyhow I say you've got a slight fracturing and it should heal up on it's own."
"Great. Thanks I suppose." Pete winced, holding his nose again. "No problem Peter."
The next weeks of the tour were pretty bad. Anytime Andy or Joe stood up for Pete or Patrick they'd get booed and stuff would be thrown at them too. It was tough and emotionally wrecking for them.
P.O.V Patrick
"We should what?!" Pete questioned, shocked. Our manager kept a straight and sorrowful face. "I think it would be a good idea if you guys cancelled the rest of the tour." She repeated, slightly slower this time.
"It's not that bad!" I protested. "Patrick, you got another black eye last night from fans throwing stuff. They threw a bag at you last night."
I shrugged, pretending I didn't care. It scared me though, they can be so vicious. "Yeah, but if we cancel it then it'll get worse. They'll think I cancelled it!"
She reconsidered for a few seconds before coming to a final decision. "Sorry, but the producer, the record label and I have already made up our minds."
We all groaned and walked out after thanking our manager for her time. I can't believe this.

"And that's why, our manager's having us cancel the tour." I typed the last sentence of my tweet and hit send. Everyone produced a similar tweet but Pete and I's were a little more apologetic since it wasn't really Andy nor Joe's fault at all.
I looked over to Pete who rested his jaw in one hand that was leaning on the arm of the chair in his house. I'm still living with Pete because we're friends again. I honestly didn't have anywhere else to go anyway and I love Pete.
