It was early in the morning when Vanessa woke up, she stretched her sore muscles and hopped out of bed making her way to the bathroom, she organized the rat nest she called her hair and brushed her teeth, she than changed into her AC/DC shirt, leggings, and gray converse. After she was ready she walked down the stairs to make some breakfast for Damon and Matthew.
Just as she was almost finished with breakfast Damon and Matthew came down the stairs, Vanessa grabbed the Nutella pancakes and put them into plates for Damon and Matthew, as soon as Matt saw the pancakes he ran up to them and started eating, while Damon sat down and poked his pancakes
"Why are you looking at it like that?" asked Vanessa "Its brown" he said eyeing the pancake carefully "So?" said Vanessa looking at him "Why is it brown? did you burn it" he asked in a childlike voice, Vanessa couldn't hold it in, she busted out laughing and fell on the ground clutching her stomach "Why are you laughing?" asked Damon clueless "The, t- the Pan-pancakes" she laughed "T-they aren't burned, its Nutella" she laughed again "Oh" said Damon as he took a bite "Its good" he said with a mouthful, Vanessa giggled and turned to make her plate when the doorbell rang
"Can you get that please Vanessa?" said Damon stuffing the pancakes into his mouth "Sure" she said and walked over to the door, she unlocked it and her eyes widened, they were already here, Nickolay, Liza, Lauren, Katrina, and Mark, the guy that decapitates people.
"Damon! there is people here for you!" i yelled, and looked again at the group outside "Uh come in" i said and they did, a couple of seconds later, Damon came walking through the kitchen door, Vanessa made a move to leave but Damon grabbed her wrist "Guys, this is Vanessa, treat her like she is part of the family, you know where your rooms are find them, and make yourself at home" said Damon with no trace of emotion, Vanessa winced at his harshness, she preferred when he showed some type of feeling.
Damon than walked out and made his way to his office, and Vanessa was alone with the group, Lauren looked at her and smiled, she ran up to Vanessa and said "Hi, i'm Lauren" she than gave Vanessa a big hug and started to point to the others "That's Liza, she is really tough but nice, that's Nickolay, he is a goofball, that is Katrina, she is a bitch, oh and that's my big brother Mark!" she exclaimed, as Mark gave her the stink eye "Ignore him he is a douche" said Lauren, Yah a douche who decapitates people, thought Vanessa "Hi Im Vanessa" she said looking at the group "I made Nutella pancakes, if you want" said Vanessa a bit quietly "Im going to my room" said Katrina "Same" said mark, and so Vanessa was left with Nickolay, Lauren, ans Liza "Ignore them, i love Nutella! i can tell we are going to be best friends, right Lithe girls started to make their way to the kitchen, Vanessa giggled and served them pancakes.
By the time the day ended Vanessa had made friends with Lauren, Liza, and Nickolay, they were really funny people and they clicked really fast, Lauren had asked Vanessa if she would go shopping with her tomorrow, and off course Vanessa said yes to her new best friend.
As Vanessa laid on her bed, she realized how lucky she was to have found these people, she sighted and smiled, she couldn't wait for the next day to come.
