Chapter 19: a rose and a date

After talking with Damon Vanessa walked back to her room, and thought about her day, one day she would have to tell Damon about her past, but not now, she was starting to get feelings for him, and she did not want to ruin that.

The next day she woke up with a rose beside her bed, under the rose there was a note that read..
To Vanessa
Roses are red violets are blue, I'd like to go out, how about you? Be ready at 7 dress casual

Vanessa giggled at his cheesiness, and walked down the stairs, she saw Nickolay and Lauren there along with Mark, as soon as Mark saw Vanessa he excused himself and walked out of the room, Vanessa shrugged and said "What's his problem?" Lauren shrugged and laughed "I have no idea"

Vanessa than grabbed a bowl and poured herself some cereal, she was going to put some for Matt too, but Nickolay said Todd took him to the park.

"Lauren I need your help!" Yelled Vanessa as she finished her bowl of cereal "for what?" Lauren asked curiously "I have a date" Vanessa said and Lauren squealed with happiness "that's not fair! I was gonna so out the pretty lady!" Yelled Nickolay playfully, Vanessa and Lauren both laughed.

"Who is the lucky guy?" He asked, Vanessa but her lip and looked at Nickolay and Lauren "Damon" she whispered "WHAT?!?!" Lauren yelled happily "oh my god that's awesome!" She said "you have to get ready!" She said and grabbed Vanessa wrist dragging her to her room.

Vanessa chose some legguings and a nice shirt, she than paired it with sandals and sat on a chair so Lauren could do her hair and makeup, when Lauren was finished it was around six, so they sat on Vanessa's bed and watched some tv, they were in a middle of a shoe but they were interrupted by the door knocking

Vanessa smiled and went to the door, there stood Damon in all of his glory, he was wearing a black shirt and jeans, he was usually in a suit, it was the first time Vanessa saw him without one "hello Vanessa" he said and grabbed Vanessa's hands, she blushed and walked out of her room with him, they for into his car and Damon drove somewhere Vanessa had never bein before, it was a lake,  the most beultuful lake Vanessa had ever swim it was crystal clear and the starts reflected in the water glimmered

Vanessa smiled and looked up at Damon "this is amazing" she said, Damon than leaned in closer to her ear and whispered "it's just the beginning"

He grabbed her hand and they walked for a bit longer, Vanessa saw some lights and ran up to them, in the middle of a clearing there was a table with fairy lights hung all around, there was a candle in the table and twonplates covered my a silver bowl.

Vanessa was speachless and Damon just smirked "who knew you could be so romantic" Vanessa said giggling, Damon led her to her side of the table and they ate, the food had been amazing, and Vanessa a felt something inside her that she had never felt in her life, was it love?

She asked her self but quickly got rid of that thought, of course not, her and Damon only new each other for a couple of month, and most of the time he ignored her, it couldn't be love.

After the amazing food, Damon took her for a walk around town, the lights in the streets and the starts in the sky made everything so much prettier.

Damon ended up taking her to an ice cream place where they had much fun, after their amazing night, Damon drove back to the mansion.

When they were right in front of her room, Damon grabbed Vanessa's chin and smashed his lips against hers, Vanessa was shocked at first but soon returned the kiss, they soon came apart painting heavily "g-good night Damon" she said opening her bedroom door

"Good night Vanessa"
