Hours passed and Damon still passed around in the hall near Vanessa's bedroom, the doctor was currently removing the bullet and for some reason he felt as if he was the one shot, why did that girl have such an effect on me, he thought and lifted his head up leaning against the wall.
Two hours of passing around and the doctor was finally done, he told Damon to enter the room and he did, the doctor than showed him Vanessa's back.
She had whip marks, bullet, and knife scars, all over her back, what the hell happened to this girl?, he thought and sat next to her, he told the doctor to leave, and he knealed besides Vanessa
"Who are you really Vanessa?" He murmured, he than suddenly did something he never thought he would do, he got up and kissed her forehead, he than let out a huge sigh and left the room.
Vanessa woke up three hours later, she had a killer headache and her stomach was hurting like hell, she looked around and noticed she was in her room, she tried getting up but miserably failed, and fell.
Just as she was getting back up Damon came back in the room "What the hell
Are you doing up!?" He yelled, and Vanessa shrugged "I hate laying down" she said and tried standing up but fell again "here, let me help" Said Damon waking up to Vanessa, she tried standing again, but she tripped and fell right into Damon's arms.
There faces were so close to each other and the slightest movement would of cause their lips to touch, but the moment was ruined by no other than one of Damon's men.
Vanessa quickly pushed him away and sat on her bed, Damon did the same. the man that barged in the room walked towards Damon and Vanessa and stood there "Vanessa, this is your and Matthews bodyguard, Tod" said Damon looking straight into Vanessa's eyes
She groaned, she didn't need a bodyguard, she knew perfectly well how to handle herself and protect Matt "I don't find this necessary Damon" she said through gritted teeth "Well I do, it's not always that a guy in the streets is going to help both Matt and you" I looked confused for a second before letting the information sink in.
Off course Matt would of told a lie for her, she than sighted "Do I really have to get a bodyguard?" She asked and Damon nodded, she groaned and looked at him "How about I train, so I won't need this guy following me everywhere?" She asked hopping he would say yes
Damon sighted and looked at the girl in front of him, why was she so stubborn "Fine, but until you have completed your training Tod will stay with you" he said giving Vanessa a look saying You-better-not-talk-back-or-I'll-kill-you, Vanessa sighted but nodded "Great" said Damon standing up I from Vanessa bed "Your training starts in two weeks" said Damon before leaving Vanessa awkwardly sitting there with Tod the guard.
