Vanessas POV
I woke up early in the morning, it was Sunday, and Damon was going to leave to Spain for a couple of days, he said he was on the trail to find the people responsible for killing his parents, which meant he was closer to finding out my truth.
It hurts me every day to think that the man i fell for, even love, hates me. Well not exactly hate me, he hates my family my blood. I would hate myself too if that was the case, and the horrible thing is that I almost followed my parent's footsteps, I almost turned into a monster, a killing machine, without emotion. Thankfully I found out the truth, and Damon found me, he was changing me, for the better.
I got up from my bed and walked to Laurens room, she would know what to do, after all she was the only one who knew about my secret other than Matthew, and I didn't think it be a good idea to talk to him about my love life.
I walked to Laurens room and opened the door, Lauren like usual was laying on her bed scrolling through her phone, "Lauren... I need your opinion on something" I said a bit quietly, she looked up from her phone and patted a spot next to her, I walked towards her bed and sat down "Whats wrong?" Lauren asked sitting up "S-should I tell Damon?" I asked "About the assassin thing?" she asked and i nodded "Well i think you should, but it's your decision not mine" I nodded and got up, I was going to tell Damon when he came back from his trip, and at the thought of that, I ran down the stairs and outside to catch Damon before he left, I ran to him and jumped, on him, I then kissed him, pouring all my emotions into it, and he kissed back, just as strong, as we parted I blushed and moved my hair away from my face, this might of being the last time I got to kiss him like this, I thought
"I'm gonna miss you" I said looking into his eyes"I'm going to miss you too, but ill be back before you know it" he said and kissed my forehead, I nodded and stepped away from him, he got in the car and left, i waved, and later went back inside.
Once I got back in the house Lauren ran to me "Soooooo," she said and I raised a brow "The boys are gone, Tod took Matt out and the other girls are shopping" she said with a big smile "So?" i said and started walking towards the kitchen "So, you could teach me some of your assassin moves!" she yelled enthusiastically, I rolled my eyes but nodded
she squealed in happiness and ran to her room to change, I laughed and walked towards my room too, she was so going to regret asking for this.
