Rogue's eyes slowly opened, his head was leaning against a pillar that was barely standing. Even though his head was still hazy he could hear it. He could hear her calling for him. He shot up and banged his head against Levy.
"Owww! Sheesh Rogue. Be careful" Levy groaned rubbing her forehead to sooth away the hit.
Rogue moved his fingers and touched his skin. He looked over at Sting and saw him doing the same thing "Yeah can't feel anything. No pain, no nothing. It's like our bodies are in a permanently numb state"
Sting pressed his hands against Levy's chest "Yep nothing and I was actually really looking forward to this"
"Yeah but I can, hands off or Momo might eat you" Levy groaned, prying his senseless hands away from her.
Rogue punched him square in the face, pushing him away. Sting popped back up "NOTHING!"
"You've been spending to much time with Aqua. Her pervertedness is rubbing off on you more and more" Levy said rolling her eyes.
"OH LEVY! YOU'RE OKAY THAT'S GOOD! I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING BUT I'M FINE!! AM I TALKING LOUD ENOUGH FOR YOU GUYS!! I CAN'T TELL" Kaylanie's voice rang through their ears.
"I've got this" Sierra pulled herself up and signed Hello, are you injured anywhere?
"I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT MEANS. ARE YOU OKAY?!?" Kaylanie shouted, oblivious to what she said .
"Is everyone alright?" Serena asked sitting up.
"Wait...what's happening guys? Kaylanie's deaf...Sting and Rogue are touchless and why is my neck moist?" Levy said rubbing slime off the back of her neck.
"The monster we came to catch took our senses and traded them for yours but you won't able to taste anything. He was the guy you tried to help by the way" Serena said calmly.
Levy put up her hand and began counting on her fingers "So Sting and Rogue gave me their touch, Kaylanie her hearing, Sierra her...."
"SMELL!!" They give Sierra a look "Hey!! IT'S IMPORTANT SHE'S A SLAYER TOO!"
They all nod in agreement. She wasn't wrong there, but still.
"Wait Serena...did you give me your sight?" Levy asked with concern evident in her voice.
"Yeah" Serena answered casually.
"No! Take it back then!!" Levy yelled furiously rubbing her eyes in attempt to render herself blind again.
"Sight in battle, is my most useless ability" Serena sighed pulling down Levy's hands.
"Really not taste?" Sierra asked
"Unless it's a bake off I guess" Levy stated
"Or a taste off!" Sting shouted thoughtlessly.
"I don't think that's a thing" Levy whispered to him.
"This is wasting time" Serena scolded "We only have until sun set, how much time is left?"
"I'd say an hour maybe forty-five minutes" Levy answered, pointing outside.
All but Serena look out the broken cathedral window to see that the sun has already begun to set.
"Crap! How long were we out!?" Sting demanded jumping on Sierra to get a better look outside.
"You were out for hours" Levy started explaining the situation "my senses came back when I woke up, a bit fuzzy on the hearing but it's fine now. I didn't have a clue of what happened and started exploring a bit. Did you guys know this place has an underground tunnel that leads to a treasure room? Couldn't believe it myself. Found some cool stuff and took it. But after a bit of a sneezing incident, I made it cave in. So no going back there. Saw other stuff but no monster. Juvia also seems to have left, I think she went to go off and search herself"
