Kaylanie woke up one fine morning in her house feeling happy, she had spent the whole night out, but was in a good mood as she fixed up some food in her kitchen, stuffing it in her picnic basket.
She hummed to herself, knowing her picnic would be nice, after putting the last of the food needed in the basket. She checked her lilac dress for any strains, content with her look, she walked out the large home with a skip in her step.
The idea for the picnic was only slightly random, seeing as last night at the costume party Kaylanie suggested they go see Calum's grave. Unfortunately with the whole incident with Nate, the plans were pushed back and turned into a picnic by his grave.
It was still quite early when Kaylanie walked into the guild by the back door, she walked up to Jordie's home, knocking on the door. Naturally, he immediately answered, groaning "Ollo"
"Good morning" Kaylanie grinned, she simply walked under Jordie's arm that was draped against the door frame, keeping him up. She made herself comfortable, setting down her things and grabbing a comb and fresh wash cloth.
Jordie shut the door, his head spinning rapidly, affects from drinking more than he should have the night before. "Wha...wha'er ya...--"
"What am I doing here?" Kaylanie interjected.
"Yeah, those words" he mumbled, his feet dragging across the floor as he met up with the unexpected visitor.
He stumbled over his feet, landing on a couch with a soft groan. Kaylanie came over to him with the --now wet-- cloth in hand, and began to wash his face.
"We're visiting Calum today" She cheerfully said, setting the towel aside.
"Oh...huh"
"Brush" she ordered, sticking a toothbrush into his mouth, and combed his messy bed head.
Jordie slowly brushed his teeth, still confused at the scene taking placing in his home as Kaylanie searched through his closet. She picked out a simple white dress shirt and some stylish jeans, before walking back to him, handing him a bowl she had set out.
He got the message and spit into it, Kaylanie then dried off his face with a towel of his. "Why are you...huh...?
"Why am I what?"
Jordie leaned forward, letting Kaylanie take off his shirt, and helped him slip on the new one. Jordie tried to rack his brain around the current situation "There's a word for this...."
He pondered on his theory while she buttoned up his shirt, then it hit him, causing him to jump up "Mothering! Whdhsh!?"
Jordie glanced down to see Kaylanie trying to pull off his pants "I can do that myself you know"
She smiled sweetly "But you're always to tired when you wake up Jordie"
"Believe me....I'm awake"
Kaylanie didn't even suppress her chuckle as she stood up, hand placed on his shoulder and gave him a forehead kiss. "Well then, good morning"
She stepped out the room, while Jordie fidgeted uncomfortably for awhile afterwards. He grabbed the jeans, slipping them on. Only then did he check himself in the mirror. Fixing his tie, he smirked "She did pretty good on me"
He shook his head and stepped out the apartment to join Kaylanie outside.
Sierra rolled over in her bed, her head felt as if it were going to explode at any moment. She was forced to hide under her sheets for a few more minutes since her bitching headache made anything and everything feel like nails on a chalkboard.
