"If I get this shot, will you do it?" He suggests, toosing the ball from one hand to the other.
I bite the inside of my cheek in hesitation.
"I'm not even good.." He adds.
"Alright" I give in, "But it has to be from there and go right in the hoop." I demand.
"Okay okay, so deal?" He grins.
"Deal."
He smiles before loosing focus on me and turns all his attention to the hoop. We're standing in the middle of the basketball court. He could never make it, not possible.
He spins the ball with his long fingers, not taking his eyes of the hoop. He takes a deep breath before tighterning his grip on the ball. Silence falls and I can only hear my heart in my ears.
God, shoot the damn ball.
He bends his knees and with one swift motion he forces the ball into the air. It flies across the court with amazing speed. It slams into the back board of the hoop and rolls around the ring before swishing inside.
"Can't wait." He smirks.
