"Willow!" Steve shouted. I barley could hear a thing with all the wind whipping in my ears.
"Steve catch her!" I could hear Bucky yell. Steve jumped off the railing as fast as he could to catch me.
He grabs my wrist as it felt like he popped my arm out of it's socket. I could see a strain expression on his face as I was dangling in the air. He couldn't pull me up with all the commotion above us. We were only a couple of feet off of the ground. If I fall now it wouldn't be as harsh or deadly as it would have been earlier.
"Drop me. I won't die from this fall. Go help Bucky." I tell Steve as he thinks for a minutes then nods his head. He releases my wrist as I start to fall again. I hit the floor then roll off and hit the ground. Seconds later Steve lands next to me as I help him up.
"This isn't gonna change what happened." Steve tells him.
"I don't care. He killed my mom." He goes to shoot as I put a force field up. Blood was trickling down my nose as I was panting harshly. He then stops shooting from his hands as I put the force field down he shoots something from his arm. A silver ball comes flying over. Two metal plates detached from the silver ball and clasp onto my wrist. Electric shock goes right through my wrist. I gasp at the pain. My knees buckle to the ground as I fall on my side. Bucky runs over to me and tries to reach out.
"No! Bucky don't. It will trigger you." I yell at him as he looks torn apart. He wanted to help me but I couldn't let him. The shocking electricity goes through my body again but it was more intense. I bury my head onto the ground bawling my fist up. I grit my teeth as I yell in pain. He goes to grab me as I push my self away from him.
"Get out of here!" I screamed out in pain as the electricity flows through my body. Instead of leaving he runs to help Steve.
I throw my head back screaming. The agonizing pain was too much for me to bare. I don't know how much more of this I can take. Feel like I'm on my last end of the string. Memories flashed through my head. I was remembering everything. My parents, signing up to be a nurse, kissing Bucky, friends with Peggy, training with Colonel Phillips, and Bucky asking me to marry him. I remember Hydra. Killing innocent People. The women, children but mostly the men. I felt sick to my stomach as their faces flash in my head. All of the things I did. I remember everything. I couldn't take the bracelet off. Every time I tried to rip them off or use my powers to take them off electric shock would worsen. I crawled over to a rock rubble and started banging my wrist against the rocks. The pain was extraordinary. But the bracelet came off finally. I could still feel the electricity running through them. I get up and see Stark beating Steve to the ground as Bucky was laying. His metal arm was gone. I gasp for air trying to catch my breath. There was no way this was going to end pretty. I pick up the metal bracelets as the electricity goes through my body. I run and jump on Stark as I place the bracelet around his neck. The electric pulse goes right through his body as he kneels to the ground. He grabs me by my throat and swings me over his shoulder as my back slammed to the ground. He was choking me with his right hand as his left hand goes up and it's crushes the bracelet around his neck. The pieces fall to the ground has he picked me up and shoves me against the wall with both his hands around my throat.
"You were there. You had to be." Stark sneared. I tried to use my powers but nothing was working. My eyes felt like they were about to pop out of my head. My face was turning a shade of purple. Steve stands up and pulls Stark off of me as I collapse to the ground on my side. I suck in as much air as I could and started coughing.
"They're my friends." Steve says.
"So was I." He blast Steve then throws him against a pillar.
"Stay down. Final warning." Stark warns him. Steve gets up and positions his hand into a fighting mode.
"I can do this all day." He breaths out. Of course you can.
Stark and Steve start to fight as I try to sit up. I could feel open wounds on my face and all around my body. I can feel myself twitching because of the electricity. I don't think I've been through this amount of torture in one day. HYDRA was bad but this? This was worse then anything I could think of. The next thing I see is Steve hammering his shield into Stark's chest. Steve rolls over grabbing the shield out and walking over to Bucky. He helps him up as I wobbly to my feet. I groan in pain as we go to walk away. Well, that was easy.
"That shield does not belong to you. You don't deserve it! My father made that shield!" Stark yells. I could see Steve dropping it to the ground. We head outside and see T'Challa. I stood in front of the boys getting ready to put a force field up as I drop to my knees. T'Challa walks over and helps me up.
"I'm here to help. I understand that I was wrong. Ross is wrong. Stark is wrong." T'challa says.
"We all make mistakes." I breath out as I wince in pain.
"If you would like, there's a place I know. You can stay there as long as you need." I look at Steve as he nods his head.
We ended up flying to Ross as T'Challa dropped the zemo crazy doctor guy off. We flew back to the car we ditched at the air port picking up our other sets of clothes and then flew to Wakanda. T'Challa had us all checked out by his medical staff and sister which were too friendly for my taste. After our fight with Stark, Steve and Bucky were taking time to catch up. I stayed clear from everyone. Don't get me wrong, I would love to spend time and listen to the stories they tell and laugh about. I just had a pit in my stomach telling me they need the time together. Just the two of them. They haven't been alone once. It was always Samual and I there.
I sat in the windowsill of my room T'Challa gave me for the time being. It was a lovely room to be honest. One of my legs hang out of the window swinging lightly. The other leg was bent up and pressed against my chest as my hands rested on it as my head laid on top. I was looking out the window into the dark sky at the bright twinkling stars. It was quite warm outside besides the light breeze that would blow the champagne colored curtains behind me. It wasn't cold enough for me to cover myself up with loads of clothes. I only wore a pair of pajama shorts, tank top and one of Bucky's sweatshirts we picked up from the car. It was very cozy. I do believe it was one of the sweatshirts I slept in a couple of times when we were in hiding. It was one of my favorites. I brought the sleeves up to my nose as I inhale his scent. Call me a creep if you want but the scent made me feel safe and it was comforting. I stared out the window again and shut my eyes for a few seconds just listening to the waterfall. It was peaceful for the first time in my life.
