Chapter Twenty Seven

As soon as we got back from our honeymoon, we had to start packing up our house. I'll admit, the honeymoon wasn't the best. It was good, but I got sunburned the second day and didn't have much fun after that. 

"Babe, can I please have more cookies," I beg as we finish packing the guestroom.

"One more," he warns. 

He will only let me pack the small things, because of the whole baby thing. I'm sixteen weeks now and in just two short weeks we'll be finding out the gender. I haven't even had an ultrasound since the one I had when I found out I was pregnant. I can't wait to see our little baby. I'm so excited! I know Alex is too. He just keeps talking about the new room for Sophia. I have an inkling he may be right.

I have mixed emotions about the baby though. I feel like its a girl but I also feel like its a boy. Its probably because everybody keeps arguing about what it will be.

"Are we going to do a gender reveal party?" I ask.

"I think that would be adorable," he smiles. "We need to think of a cute idea though."

"I don't think we'll have a problem there. We both have great imaginations."

"That's very true," he replies.
