Closer ~ MCFLY fan fiction

The next morning I woke up to Buzz and Doug jumping on the bed "morning mummy" Doug smiled "morning" I smiled as I looked over at Tom who wasn't there "where's daddy?" I asked "downstairs with uncle Dougie"  Buzz said as I got up "let's go down then" I said as we did and they were in the lounge "morning" I yawned as I sat next to Doug "you alright?" He asked "I'm fine" I said "what are you doing today?" Tom asked "I'm taking these two out as you have a Mcfly meeting here remember" i smiled "I'm going to have a shower" Doug said as he went up. "Come on boys lets go and get dressed" I smiled as we all up.

The boys were playing in their rooms whilst I got dressed and Tom was sat on the bed "I love you" he smiled as I walked out of the wardrobe room "I love you two" I smiled as he put his arms around me "I better take the boys out otherwise they will get cranky" I said as I put my coat on "I love you" he smiled again as he kissed me "I love you two" I smiled as I walked out the room and Dougie walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around him "come on boys" I said "your going ? Tom are you ready?" He said as he walked sexily in our room "bye" I said "bye have fun" Tom said as we went.

We were walking town and Doug was holding my hand and Buzz was walking beside me. We've been gone for about two hours and the boys were getting tried "I want to go home" Buzz said "so do I but daddy is having a meeting" I said "can we go in there?" Doug asked pointing at a toys shop "come on then" I said as they both ran in there and I walked in behind them and they were looking at all the toys and my phone went and it was Danny. Hello Jones I said as I watched them look at the toys Lily! Get to the hospital now! He said what? Why? What's happened ? I asked Tom passed out and we are in ambulance now and we don't know what's happened he said I'm on my way I said as I put the phone down "come on boys" I said as I grabbed their hands "where are we going?" Buzz asked as we walked very fast to the car "to dad" I said as I put them in the car and drove off.

I arrived at the hospital and I got the boys and I took both of their hands and walked to the front desk "where is Tom Fletcher? Please" I said as she searched "on level B" she said as I walked off quickly to the stairs and we ran up the stairs and I went into the ward and Harry and the guys were sat on the floor outside of a room "where's Tom?" I asked "in there" Danny said "they won't tell us anything cause we aren't family" Harry said "boys stay out here" I said "I wanna see daddy" Doug said "I know you do but just stay here" I said as I opened the door and saw Tom laid there with wires attached to him with a heart rate monitor and I went in and tears raced down my face "Tom?" I said as he opened his eyes "Lily?" He said with a croaky voice "I'm here" I said as I sat in the chair next to him and I took his hand "what happened ?" I asked him "I don't know" he said "where are Doug and Buzz?" He asked "they are outside with the guys" I said "bring them in" he said "okay" I said as I got up and walked out and wiped my eyes "daddy wants to see you" I said as they both took my hands and we walked in "why does daddy have wires on him?" Buzz asked me "Because he fell and the doctors are making sure he is alright" I said as I picked up who was just staring at him and Buzz sat on the chair next to him and just stared at him "don't worry I'm gonna be okay" Tom said with his croaky voice and Doug cried "I don't want to see daddy" he cried into my shoulder and I took him out of the room "I don't want to see daddy" he repeated "why not?" I asked him and he didn't answer "I don't like seeing daddy like this but he will alright" I said "do you want to see him now ? And give him a hug?" I asked and he nodded and we went back in and Buzz and Tom were having a hug and I put Doug with them and I took a picture of them and the nurse walked in "hello you must be Mrs Fletcher" she smiled "that's me" I said "I would like to talk to you about Tom" she said "okay, boys go outside so we can speak to the nurse" I said as they ran out to the lads and I sat down next to Tom and I took his hand "I really hate saying this to anyone as no one deserves to hear this but Mr Fletcher you have stage 2 cancer" she said and tears just flowed out of my eyes "okay, what is going to happen?" I asked as Tom just sat there in shock  "Mr Fletcher will have to stay in hospital for a week and he will have cemo appointments and it will go from there" she said "ill leave you both to have some time" she said and she left "Tom I have something to tell you" I said "what?" He questioned quietly "I'm pregnant" I said as everyone walked with smiles on their faces "you are?" He smiled "yep" I said.
