A very breathy and low voice spoke near a shimmering lake- womanly, as it were. The shiny aqua reflected the face of a young woman with white hair and diamond-blue irises. "You know, there's an infamous saying which states that when a boy named Jack works all day and has no time to play that he becomes a very impotent and lousy individual."
Blue hair ran down the back of a well-armored man. "Perhaps you mean 'all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy', no?" Running a finger down his hand, this deep-voiced man shook his head. "I'm always astonished by you, Danu. You know the language of English, having kept both Celtic and English in your cranium, yet you know very little of our Anglo culture."
The white-haired woman sat with mist around her as she wore a blue dress. "My sincerest apologies, Sir Michael." The woman shook her head, raised an eyebrow, and looked at the rainbow-eyed man.
"Your sass never left you, did it? In this true form of yours, you look like the beautiful elf-princesses of legend." Michael bent over the lake, in his noisy armor, and ran a hand through the crystal-like and reflective river.
The goddess's fashion was full of combinations of blue and white hues. "Well, I still can't believe we've been in this world for decades upon decades of years and you're still not used to my sass. Despite the fact that my voice has gotten higher and even my bust size has... grown. Considerably."
Michael blushed. "Ah, indeed." Putting his hands in front of his face, he giggled. "I guess... I can not lie then when I say that I preferred your 'Ms. Vitna' alias better."
"You like smaller breasts?" Danu muttered and threw her arm out. Having tossed her arm out like this, though with no malicious intent, ice shards were produced and stabbed themselves into the ground. Both Michael and Danu sprang up at this, their small talk cut short.
The pointy ears which stemmed from the platinum-haired goddess's head were one of the only extremities that stuck out on the upper part of her face. Her skin was very fair and of a creamy ivory. A slight tan had, however, struck upon Danu's pigmentation; it was endearing and it made sense as the Seelie Court was bright and full of beaches, rivers, and warm temperature.
However, the goddess appeared ultimately juvenile.
"Easy there. We can't just kill each other before we find the others. Sorry if I insulted your boobs. Afterwards, it's up to you. Hm. It's so unfortunate that we should get separated when Bel let Adalhelm go through the portal." Michael sat by the lake, his feet dipping into the water as he stripped himself of his armor one by one.

Danu, goddess of water, ice, and the moon, turned her back to the body of water that the knight was currently undressing himself by. "You know, even with your armor, my ice shards could still kill you. So don't get cocky. Besides, those were on accident. I haven't used any powers in this form for a while... so... sorry if I accidentally use my powers. And by the way, don't call him 'Bel' anymore. He's properly referred to as 'Abellio'."
"My goodness. Still more grumpiness from you, huh?" the knight, taking off the finishing touches of his azure armor, found himself in merely a dress of loose pants and a lousy T-shirt.
"I seldom make apologies, Michael." Danu crossed her arms. "But, for you... I guess I could make an... exception. Nope. Just kidding. Go fuck yourself. But you see, I'm concerned. About Abellio. How do you think he's holding up with Adalhelm now that Adalhelm has returned to the Tir Na Mabi?"
Michael dunked his feet some more in the water; he appeared almost like a child as he soon began to run his hands through the calm stream of the river. "I see. So your heart is bent with concern for the deity of apples?"
         Danu simply nodded.
"Idiotic." Michael pursed his lips as he stood up in very worn clothing, the solar body in the sky of the Tir Na Mabi made the body of water shimmer and shake on the surface. "Bel is but the deity of apples. He concerns himself with nothing other than being the patriarch for a particular kind of sweet and succulent agriculture. There are gods here, I've seen, who can move mountains or make people fall in love or deceive others... or even bring people back from the dead. Yet you allowed those misty and golden eyes of yours to fall on the deity of... apples. Yes, I know that I am his servant ever since he used what little powers he had back on Earth on me. So, I do do his bidding. But I may still speak my mind. And... I know, I know. This is the part where you throw those icicles at me or make moons fall on me, crushing me indefinitely. But for the time being, I reserve the right to insult you too... just as you have been nothing but a sassy pain in my ass since we split from the group."
"What is your problem?" Danu exhaled. "If you don't like me that much then we might as well split up! I'm sure I could get better cooperation out of one of the dwarfs around this place!" her arms getting more tense to her sides, the goddess trekked off in a huff. "I can't believe that after all these years you still are rude to me!"
Michael shook his head. "Just voicing my frustrations I have for this group. The six of us were more than just an unlikely grouping. I feel as though this was all a tragedy. A mishap." the knight fell back onto the grass, laying down next to the shimmering lake that sat beside him; the water of the stream went quite fast. "The Wild Hunt shouldn't have taken us. We were never meant to cooperate amongst each other."
"No shit, you dip." Danu clenched a fist. "I wanted to be 'Ms. Vitna' for a little bit longer. I wanted to... do things... in that form. So of course I'll be the first to agree with you that the Wild Hunt should've left us alone."
Michael yawned, stretched out his limbs, and then laughed. "Mhm. Something wanton, I assume?" his rough yet simultaneously youthful face turned to the goddess of air, water, and moon.
"Quite. Now that I'm in this form... that can still be done, but it's nothing Bel hasn't seen already." Danu yawned, her wispy white hair and its blue tint blew with her vicious inhale. "You see, us deities have a few forms we can mess with. For instance, Belenus can turn into some... demonic fire thing. However, when we change our form, it uses up a lot of our blood. Well, ichor, as it is called. Therefore, I can't loosely transform whenever I so please. With each transformation, I need to make a pilgrimage to the opposite court in order to be fully replenished."
Michael sat up at this, his hands gripping the grassy ground. "I see. So you essentially regenerate your godly blood by walking? Wow. I'd imagine walking is the last thing that one would do when they essentially become anemic."
Danu's right eyebrow went up as she spoke in her original and ultimately girly form. "Who said anything about walking? I have the air carry me."
"Oh. Right. Sorry. Silly me. Of course you do! You have the air carry you. The air. Yes. Darn. I wish I was able to gain access to that form of transportation on my own. Unfortunately," Michael stood up at this point. "the majority of us rotten humans have legs to carry us."
Danu pursed her lips and turned away, putting an arm to the top of her shoulder. Her face was pained, concerned. The blue-haired soldier that stood next to her, separated by only a series of tall and verdant grass, gave a simple sigh. His face was unimpressed and stoic. Perhaps that was always to be the face of a man who spent a great deal of his life in the military.
In her journey to leave the land of Tir Na Mabi, Danu had had high hopes at first. But, it had now been almost forty years and they were further away from finding Queen Medv... or so it seemed. Queen Medv was once on good terms with Danu, but those days were so far into the past that they might as well have been ancient. Danu and other close friends of hers had been taken from the dimension of Earth to this land by a mysterious, visceral, and torturous group known as the, 'Wild Hunt'. Though this was her home world, Danu had been quite preoccupied with adjusting to life on Earth with much enjoyment. She didn't want to give up that experience. She had been thwarted; deprived. Yet, here she stood concerned over something else.
"I... honestly am quite upset." the goddess's eyes welled with tears. "We've been here for so long, in this dimension. My home dimension. And yet you haven't really gotten along with anyone. You have continued to be closed off to all except... Abellio."
"Am I really hurting your feelings that bad?" Michael folded his hands, his eyes raising a bit to show off a kind of half-bred concern. "This is who I am. A man made from the military. I don't 'get along' with people. I get by."
          "Michael-"
"I guess we should split up. I can't handle the misadventures and escapades of you deities. You ultimately are pretty insecure and finite creatures... and that... is pathetic! You're supposed to be gods!" Michael's voice rose as high amounts of anger perspired off of him. "Here you are, so self-conscious about your body as well as traveling about this dimension as though you're lost without a map.... FOR YOUR OWN FUCKING HOME! You're supposed to be a goddess. So... why... don't you just snap your fingers and find Adalhelm already? Or Belenus and Chloe?" Michael gritted his teeth, kicking at the metal armor that was on the ground in a very child-like manner.
"Michael! If you keep kicking all of that junk then it's gonna roll into the lake!" Danu was saddened, her heart yearned for her friends and ached at the sight of Michael losing his temper at her. However, the man's suit and equipment was going to go down stream if he didn't stop having a tantrum. "Plus, this is very childish. I only haven't found the others any sooner because I'm trying not to leave you behind!" the girly goddess pointed, her azure garbs seeming overgrown at times.
"Oh? Me? Childish? That's a laugh coming from a woman who is only four feet tall." the lightly dressed soldier closed his eyes and took a deep breath, the kicks he delivered on his steel gauntlets and breastplates were slowing down to a stop. "But... perhaps I am being childish." his face turned to Danu with an expression void of emotion.
"Look, we just both need to calm down. I'm not really feeling all that happy either, but-"
"No." Michael's eyes were tired as they locked onto the goddess which stood in front of him. "No. I want to leave you. Split up. You said it yourself, you haven't found the others any sooner because of me. Well, guess what? I don't need to be a burden anymore. I can take this world on all on my own. It has been an insane amount of years after all. Nothing surprises me too much. I can easily fend for food. Just gotta find those dwarfs again. Hm. I'm sorry... but it's settled. We can't get along, Danu. Co-existence is a futile fantasy."
"No! Just hold on. Please!" Danu fell to her knees, breaking into a loud sobbing as tears fell over the skin of her giant bust. "Don't... go. I don't wanna... be... all... alone."
The soldier stood back, almost tripping into the water which was behind him. "I'm sorry?"
"Truth be told, I never liked being alone. Don't get the wrong idea. But I always loved being surrounded by my brethren, the other deities of this world."
Michael nodded. "Indeed. Well, I guess this 'relaxing' break by the river was pointless. Here we are, deciding to stop by a lake to cool off from all our travels and yet... we ended up getting into some exhausting argument." Looking at his armor which was dangerously close to the river, Michael pulled up the equipment closer to the infinitely grassy lands. "Back on track we go, then."
       "So... you're not leaving?"
Michael's eyes turned to Danu in a staccato-like motion. "Don't get the wrong idea. I just don't want to be alone either, truth be told."
