Between beliefs and thoughts, I'd like to form a dichotomy between the two. One of my favorite styles of writing, if not the most favorite, is making characters who think what I do and making them a less-likable character and then making a character hold what I believe and making them the main character or protagonist. Of course, being an author can be an interesting kind of 'entertainer', because most people involved in entertainment put on one or two other characters who split the dichotomy I just mentioned in pretty chiseled and noticeable ways. Whereas an author can divvy up their personality through many different roles.
