 (Blog-esque thoughts continued.)

I recognize that that last chapter might sound pretentious on how I only ever get a real muse out of writing fantastical and whimsical commentaries. The thing is, though, is that I genuinely love writing stuff like that. Even when I let go and stop trying to impress people, that's what I come to. I enjoy crafting big worlds that have a lot of intricacy to them. I find intricacy is an important thing for me in stories. If a story is too basic for me -- and this is still talking about how I write -- I won't enjoy writing it anymore. I really cherish lots of possibilities and nothing kills writing a story for me more than knowing how it's gonna end. All of the endings to my stories have birthed themselves after a series of possibilities which have come to pass throughout the story prior to it. I really like creating that kind of 'mystery' or 'suspense' to what I write, and how there can be a series of speculations of suspect-endings which could come to pass at any given time. I don't like predictability in any story, nor any of mine. That is to say, I don't like one kind of prediction to be ever-present. I like many!
