"Amora you cannot die on me. Not now. Not ever." I heard someone say. A cool hand touched my cheek and the room grew cold where I was. My eyes shot open and I gasped for breath my body left with a dry feeling. I turned to my side and cough up some smoke as a hand gave me a pat on the back. "You can't do that again. Your human now Amora." Someone scolded me. I looked up and saw Rayden kneeling over me. Everyone seemed to be taller than me. "Rayden?" I asked him confused. Rayden gave me a bright smile and a hard pat on the back. "Good to see you too love." He told me. "Eliza?" I heard Warren ask holding a hand to his head. "I healed them and wiped the neighbors memories along with fixing the house." Rayden told me. I looked around myself to see a roof still over my head and the room not burnt. "What happened?" I asked him. Rayden shook his head as Warren started to come to. "Don't trust him." I heard Raguel whisper in my ear. I turned to Rayden confused but before I could ask a question he disappeared. Only leaving me with a memorie of brownish blonde hair and light skin. "Eliza what happened?" Warren asked coming over to me. I looked over at Noah to see him coming to also. A strong pull wanted me to help him but at the same time he probably just wanted space. I got up and ignored Warren helping Noah to his feet. "What happened?" He asked slurring his words still a little drunk. "Here let me help." Warren said trying to grab Noah's arm. I pulled Noah away and looked at the door. "Go home Warren." I told him sternly. Warren looked at me for a moment before doing as I asked. After he left i sighed wondering what time it was. My phone said that it happened to be almost midnight. I carried Noah downstairs and to my dismay, Warren was waiting there for me. "At least let me help take him to the hospital." He told me. I closed my eyes for a second trying to clear my mind, being able to only hear Warrens name. "Okay, his keys are by the door to the truck. We'll take it to the hospital." I directed Warren. He nodded and got in the drivers seat while I helped Noah in the back. "Where arreeee we goinggg?" He asked me. I ignored him and buckled him up. "We're going to the hospital. You probably have alcohol poisoning." I told him. "And a lot of other poisoning." Warren added looking at Noah through the rear view mirror. Noah frowned looking at Warren. "I don't like you much De Ville." Warren rolled his eyes and started the car up anyways. We drove down the highway and I sat in the back with Noah. "Were you talking to someone when I woke up?" Warren asked me. I looked at the road trying to think of what to say. "No, you must have heard things." I told him. Warren kept his gaze at the road but I could tell her still had more to ask. "Was it an angel?" He asked next. I scoffed and kept Noah upright. "I already told you they don't exist." I lied. Warren glared at me but still drove to the hospital. When we got there, I helped Noah out to the front. "He drank a lot of alcohol and took some pills but I don't know what." I told the receptionist at the ER. She looked at me quizzically for a second before Noah puked on the floor on my shoes. I cringed as I felt vomit overflowed my shoes. "I'm fine and danndyyy." Noah said before falling on his knees. Some nurse came and got him while I walked out of the ER barefoot. "They're going to call his parents right now. We can leave." I told him feeling grossed out. Warren looked at my feet and laughed as he leaned against the truck. "This is not funny." I said which only made him laugh harder. "Come on, lets go drop the car back at his place then I'll drive you home." He told me. I rolled my eyes and sat in the front seat. Hoping for a quite car ride was too much to ask for. "Are you really not going to tell me your an angel?" He asked as we pulled into the driveway. I crossed my arms and looked at the airbag. "You need serious mental help." I told him before opening my door. I slammed the truck door shut as Warren tried to talk to me. "Why won't you just admit it?" He asked me. I ignored him and walked a couple of feet deciding I'd rather walk home. "Eliza dont I'll just take you home." He said grabbing my wrist. I turned around sharply and brought my knee to his stomach. Warren let out a puff of air and gripped his stomach before with crumbling to the floor, and I walked away. Even though every bone in my body was telling me to turn around and help him, my brain was screaming 'DANGER' in bright red flashing lights. After I got around the corner, I turned to make sure he wasn't following me. Warren was just laying on the ground so I let out my wings and flew home.
